I paid to reserve it and if I ever go there I can use it. Everyone had the same opportunity I did to get it. I’m sorry I am more interested in playing the game than sitting in queue.
Everyone is afraid of the dead server boogeyman. If there aren’t 15k people on the server with 15k more in queue, might as well start digging the grave.

You know you can roll characters on a new realm without deleting them on the old realm, right? You have absolutely nothing to lose.
So I’m just spitballin’ here… but you could create new characters on a new realm and play them until the queue on your old realm goes down in a couiple of weeks. When it does you can go back to playing on it.
I’m assuming, of course, that you actually enjoy playing the leveling game. (Because if you don’t, what are you doing in Classic?)

Leveling sucks and is the worst part of the game. I’m playing to get geared up and kill gnome mages.
I left Herod on day 3. Incendius still has queues, but they’re not Herod-bad.
I’m playing on low pop servers to avoid ques. But I want to at some point play with my friends who are all on a full pop server.
Think about players like me blizzard!

got the feeling realm transfers were demanded in hopes others would leave and the loudest players are not going anywhere

Not on Herod but on Pagle pve server.
I didn’t realize the pve players had already segregated themselves as Alliance on Pagle and Horde on Mankrik, and as a result, its not fun playing horde on Pagle. Every quest area is 6alliance to 1 horde, and nobody is grouping for higher level dungeons.
