I have been sitting in felwood since 3:30 AM CST, it is now 9:00 AM CST. No Minfernals have spawned.
Why, Just why, why is a level 15 pet such a pain in the butt to farm.

Once upon a time, the dedicated pet battle forums had anywhere from 9 to 3,145 threads per day about how hard it is to get a minfernal, and demanding it be removed from the Safari achievement at the least.
Blizzard’s response was, sorry sucks to be you, some pets are just going to be hard to get, because we think making you make Brazilian death knights is funny. (Note, the players on the Brazilian servers did not find it funny.)
I went over there (Edit: to Felwood, not Brazil) once the other night, realized the madness of doing this with my life TWICE, and decided that this time around I’m going to forego the minfernal. I rarely used my Zookeeper title anyway.

yeah its stupid stuff like this that gets server’s ddos’d for a reset. it almost promotes it
If you have any characters on any locked servers, I would recommend trying to get minfernal there. I got one first try on Earthfury the other day and there was several up.
