and I think Revendreth (dark side) is the best SL zone, Bastion is far too bright for my liking

I almost fell asleep during the bastion storyline, it was just so boring.
Also way too bright, hurts my eyes and I’m always eager to get back to maldraxxus.
Bastion reminds me of Terra and Aion.
Which is okay except the fact that the flight paths are in bad spots. Poorly designed zone with interesting aesthetic.
I remember one night I was in a dungeon and I threw out of frost trap so the screen turned white and all I heard on teamspeak was OOOOAHHHH AWHHHH
And I’m like omg what what happened and they were like U BLINDED US
It’s an overused term some people think is an insult, when, really, it just means you like dark grim, and gothic stuff.
Again, plays a demon hunter though, so.

…what dungeon was that? I don’t remember having the screen go white, even with the old hunter trap that was super bright.
But yeah, too much light can make a place unpleasant, doesn’t help that every zone in SL is dark except bastion so its a bit of a shock going there.
all shadowlands zones are absolute garbage. Both visually and gameplay.
Visually garbage? Meaning you think the art quality is poor?
it looks like absolutely default mobile gaming art, all the blizzard style is gone.

Personally I think Bastion is a terrible zone and all the WQs there are horrendous.

Blackrock maybe? It was the one with the black dragonkin. I’m not sure.
Pretty sure bastion is better than that. Totally better. Like tempted to leave the husband better.
Nailed it. I have my DH there; makes the downs easier at least. But I’d still take there over Ardenweild! That place drives me nuts.
My hunter Covenant is Bastion. Love it. Enjoy the rides at least when on DH, and it’s usually quicker than I think getting from A to B without mobs. And that little peaceful ride on sw side out of Denizens WQ.
I enjoyed the storyline right off in Bastion.
