I wonder if there was a less-PG version of him during the design phase. I could see the “chain” theme being expanded on, connecting to his nose and… other places that were prominent in the promotional material… Maybe some black tribal or runic tattoos under and around the glowy ones, to make them stand out more…

This would be cool :sunglasses:

Him.

This was his prior design:

He has a new, encrypted model in 9.1, so it’s possible he’ll get a powerup and turn into that.

So he goes from this (Handsome Squidward)

to this (Ice King)?

Make the player the main villain.

*Framed on the run , at this point the A-team theme starts playing in my head now… .

In 1972, a crack commando unit was sent to prison by a military court for a crime they didn’t commit. These men promptly escaped from a maximum-security stockade to the Los Angeles underground. Today, still wanted by the government, they survive as soldiers of fortune. If you have a problem… if no one else can help… and if you can find them… maybe you can hire… The A-Team. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Maybe they nixed that concept art because it was too similar to the primus? His 9.1 non-captive form is also old man beardy with ragged robes.

It honestly looks like they took that long braided beard and stuck it on the primus to recycle assets.
