Who plans to move to TBC if released?

Blind isn’t a poison in late tbc. Dwarf rogues aren’t all that.

idk i didnt have problems, resil cap and over 13k hp pretty much shurgged off burst. lock got an extra 3% from talents. Cool im silenced but you can’t crit me so ehh. Mage was a free kill, rogues were scary yes, pally wasn’t scary until wrath prepatch.

Rogue, lock, druid, and disc priest, mm, lock were like the only teams that made it past 2000 really.

Even if it’s optional, Classic still gets the finger. Most guilds will either move to TBC or get gutted and torn apart. Tic tic tic… I think we have 2 years tops to enjoy things as they currently are…

When classic TBC comes out, I will be quitting wow for good. Only here because I didn’t get to see classic except the last two months, and I barely hit 60 before TBC came out. Loved TBC, by far my favorite expansion, but I already accomplished everything there including kiljaeden. No reason to do it again

Nope. I was forced into that once already. I will happily stay in my “sort-of-Vanilla-like” Classic, puttering around, until they close my servers on me.

If they do yet another “stupid” to Classic and force Burning Crusade on me AGAIN, I’m done.

I don’t want them to go do anything post wrath. They are widely spoken of as the best expansions ( bc and wrath). I’d quit again if they continued in to cata. I think a lot of others would too. I think the only option for success would be to restart classic or then do the mythical classic +.

At that point we will have had a strong player base for a few years and they could see the benefit in giving us some new content… or maybe revamping cata-bfa with classic designs in mind. If they did cata as it was I’d guess a lot of people like myself would quit.

Yeah i don’t know. I don’t see myself signing on for BC. Maybe wrath? I honestly couldnt say but chances are slim id be back for anything else.

I was Gladiator season 1-3 as Enh Shaman with Demonology Warlock. First season was chaotic. 2nd and 3rd though were more challenging but Enh/Demo destroyed all cookie cutter comps especially Rdruid/SLock. We would burst lock’s pet 2 times and on 3rd time he couldn’t res it instantly. Then we would sit on Warlock until druid goes oom. I was on Illidan named Urugvay and lock’s name escapes my memory now I think it was Ouni. If anyone remembers us they can tell you that we were constantly dueling. We made many people upset in 2v2 that they would whisper us, alliance would make horde toon and trash talk us. In Season 4 we couldn’t reach Glad because more BM Hunters were running with RDruid and some had legendary bows, also Rogue/Priest with legendary glaves (2 on Illidan specifically) were just impossible for us to beat.

I’m fairly sure blizz is plenty sensitive on this fact. That being said i’m also fairly sure they would force some sort of server consolidation as I find it difficult to see the population on classic servers remaining as they are with so many folks wanting to get into TBC.

I would, and I’m going back to my warrior for tbc, And i will craft my mighty Skillherald.

TBC wouldn’t be till mid-late 2021 at best (if ever) you’ll have your Naxx gear and enough for an alt or 2.

I was thinking that the transfers would be free one time. Like you make your choice and if you change your mind you have to pay.

I think this would be the best way to do it, not saying this is what they’re actually going to do. Getting rid of Classic would eventually put them back in the same place. What’s the purpose of bring it back if you’re just going to overwrite it again?

This question really makes one wonder about gold. If it is “transfers” then will the gold limit for transfers apply?

It will be interesting to see how things actually happen.

Are you talking about them moving WOW Classic through expansions, and losing WOW Classic? Hell, for all that I want TBC Classic, I’d seriously consider quitting on principle if they eliminated WOW Classic realms by adding the expansion to them instead of doing separate realms. I don’t want WOW Classic taken away ever again.

Or are you saying you’d quit if Blizzard opened a Cata Classic realm that had no impact whatsoever on WOW Classic realms. (Seriously, at 6 years of WOW Classic with no changes, no updates, that population would be as stable as it ever could be.)

How many guilds will still be around running Naxx a year after it is released? Even if Blizzard stops at WOW Classic, says no to TBC Classic, the population will be on a strong decline post-Naxx, as some people finish their goals and quit. It will settle out, but that decline (and guilds falling apart, gutted as players quit) is going to happen whether TBC Classic is run alongside or not.

They have the tech for it, they use it in PTR (character clone).

They could just have people clone their characters to a TBC enabled server.

Yes to TBC I’d like to transfer atleast one avatar but I’d also reroll fresh right away too.

I suspect they will make a few new Classic 1-60 servers (maybe just one of each of 4 types) and allow transfers to those for people who do not want to continue to TBC. Then convert all existing servers to TBC. They’ll keep Classic servers if for no other reason than to minimize Pservers and protect their IP. This way also minimizes the # of transfers they have to handle, saves them from having to do any server mergers, etc.

And hell yes I’ll be moving on to TBC.

If they release separate BC realms, then I’ll switch almost entirely to playing on them, and subscribe to a second account so I can create all the blood elves and draenei I want without deleting any of my current characters.

If they “update” the entire game to BC…I’ll keep playing, for now, but I’ll also be canceling my subscription entirely when the game gets “updated” again, to WotLK.

Nope. Didn’t care for TBC that much.
