Who is your favorite YouTuber or streamer?

i don’t watch streams for game info, i just watch friends play the game

Not sure if it’s been mentioned earlier in the thread, but “Signs of Kelani” does good videos of that specific flavor (“things to do before X”)

Most of his videos seem to be under 10 minutes, and he just gets straight into it with minimal banter, so you get a nice bite-sized “to-do list” of what you should do

I think i stumbled onto a couple of his boss fight videos back in the day, has a very calm kinda sound to him lol

Yeah he’s got a pretty “chill” British accent too, unlike Talesin/Evitel he’s not “trying too hard” with it.

T&E seem kinda annoying to me, so much random banter when I just want to watch a video for the “substance” or “meat” (if that makes sense) and get on with my day

Yeah, that comes down to wanting an informative video as opposed to one that’s trying to be entertaining, i like documentaries, not drama, comedy skits or reality TV

I know people try and do both, but it rarely comes off well.

I don’t watch any youtuber that does gameplay for any game, id rather play it myself.
I don’t watch streams because i DESPISE twitch and its culture.

darksydephil ack ack snort

not sure how you came to the conclusion that it was a “false report”.
he admitted to it.

No one. I prefer to watch intelligent youtubers. There’s a lot of cool people creating out there.

I’m one of the Boomers that Asmon (jokingly?) says make up most of his audience.

Yeah, T&E spends a lot of time on “fluff” filler such as those attempted comedy skits you mention.

It’s like, come on dude - just get to the substance/just get to the “meat” of the patch details, new datamined game info, etc I don’t got all day to sift thru 10-15 minutes of a “fluff” comedy skit :man_facepalming:

If your Youtube video title says something like

…then when I click on your video I expect the video to get to the main content mentioned (…those 5 new features mentioned in the clickbait title), I didn’t click into your video to listen to a “comedy skit” that lasts like 15 minutes… and a comedy skit that isn’t even funny

SoundSmith. Yes, I know he’s not a WoWTuber, but the humor in some of his content is a nice distraction from whatever mindless grind I happen to be working on in WoW so I say it counts.

If you need a specific WoW content creator: That one guy what says the things about the stuff.

None of them help me do anything in wow, but my favorite would be Asmongold, with Belluar behind him. I just watch their youtube videos. But lately i find myself asking what does belluar have to tell me what wowhead doesn’t do already? So i have his videos on when i’m driving / exercising / cleaning and being bored doing so.

I really liked listening to Totalbiscuit and Blue Plz. RIP.

I’ve not really been into WoW youtubers for a while.
I used to like Dalaran Gaming but then he started pumping out videos like…
My top 13 specs for in patch X.XX
The 28 specs I’m most looking forward to in X.XX
My least favorite 7 classes in DF

Like come on. What’s the point in even making a video if you’re including half the damn specs?

Me. They play a lot like I do and can’t stay on the goal for the stream ever. Love them so much.

[To be serious for a moment I will never understand watching streamers for games I play. I’d rather play it myself. I have no patience to watch, if I saw someone do something fun in WoW outside a funny clip I’d just wanna hop on the game myself within 5 minutes. I mostly stream to my friends that don’t play and the randos that I like chatting with]

Prot paladin, but I lean into written guides, not videos.

Making lazy react content mostly.

This said, here’s a different question: Why do yall enjoy watching WoW streamers? What’s the appeal?

i know, i was just joking for laughs.
