So why can’t two opposite gender characters just be friends? Why can’t Anduin just be friends with Bolvar’s kid?

I don’t care what people do in their fanfiction. Dr. Watson is married and Sherlock was asexual, that is the established canon.
I hope he would be, I’m really against Taelia marrying him because he is teh High King. I don’t care what happens to Anduin, he can hook up with the dragon - even just to annoy Golden. But I hope Tealia won’t marry him because she is pressured into it.
And yet even the tv show did a bit of nudge nudge with it. As horrendously boring as that show was.
Idk about Halford but Shaw definedly is gay.

The only media that imo truly captured the essence of the books was ironically “The great mouse detective” by Disney. All the recent tv shows/ movies did a terrible job when it comes to portraying Sherlock. I think I’ve read each Sherlock book that was out there, and I am big fan of them, and whether it was a movie with Robert Downey Jr. or tv series with Benedict Cumberbatch, it just didn’t do anything to me. Call me a purist, but that’s a franchise over which I am extremely sensitive about.
Thankfully Hercule Poirot was done by people who really wanted to give this character justice he deserved. I really recommend the series with David Suchet. 
On that I agree.
At least with the RDJ movie we had this gem

Straight people do the same exact thing. Anduin spoke to Taelia once. Thalyssra and Lor’themar spoke once. People are obsessed with them, one became canon, and it had overwhelming support. It has nothing to do with being gay, please stop saying it does. People just do that. You’re only noticing the gay ones because those ones bother you.

And you won’t see me praising it. I don’t like Taelia x Anduin, and I don’t like LTT x Thalyssra precisely for reasons you provided. It feels forced and just not convincing.
Assumption much? So far none of the characters mentioned in his thread were confirmed to be gay as well. You assumed they are, and apparently it upsets you that somebody else states that it might not be the case.
You misunderstood. I’m not saying they’re gay, I’m saying you’re claiming it’s only done to same-sex friendships when it’s not. It’s any two characters who speak to one-another. But for some reason you’re only speaking out against the gay ships and not the 100 “Anduin and Tess/Calia/Jaina/Li Li/Taelia/Talanji?” threads that are posted each week.
What I’m referencing:
It has nothing to do with gender, so there is no reason to specify the gay ships unless those in particular bother you.

You’re right it should apply to characters of different sex as well. For example in the mandalorian the main character has a companing in female shock trooper, they act more like a best buddies and making them go on romantic route would feel forced.
And what you’re talking about me not voicing protest in foces straight pairings when I literally said to you :
No, what bothers me is when a character precisely specifies who they like and people immediately try to pair him or her with somebody else. I wouldn’t bother if Flynn wasn’t written to be into pretty brunette. But he was written like that in the very beginning.
It’s kinda like with that anime Inuyasha I was watching a while ago, where Kagome clearly had eyes only For Inu, but some people were writing fanfics and fancomics with her hooking up with his brother, despite them having close to zero interaction and zero chemistry.
