i dont like addon because this give edge over other player
but will have no choice to use one because i will be in disadvantaged vs other player , i think is call Attack Bar Timer , is going to be the only addon i will use sadly , sad blizzard dont ban all addon

Iā€™ll use macros, but I canā€™t stand addonsā€¦ so thatā€™ll be easy. You might be dependent on addons; not everyone is.

Iā€™m not planing on any right now. In the past Iā€™ve used gatherer and recount. But since the game professions are irrelevant anymore and I just heal in group stuff I havenā€™t used either of those since cataclysm.

If they work in classic I may consider gatherer again, since imo it doesnā€™t break immersion. Given I could take screen shots or take notes of were I found various herbs or ore in the zones, gatherer just automates it.

Threat meter, casting bar, and Titan Bar. Maybe more later if I feel the need.

I usually donā€™t play with a lot of addons anyway, I like to explore and figure things out for myself. But Iā€™m pretty sure Iā€™m going to be using at least 2 addons. 1 for zone levels so I donā€™t have to keep alt tabbing out of the game to check and another for talent planning so I can plan ahead and not have to respec.

They made the addon API, they want the game to have addons. Of course they arenā€™t going to ban all addons.

Yes. We pretty much had addons from day 1.

Before day 1, in fact. Many addons were tested in the betas before Vanilla released.

Leveling, none needed.

Threat meter for raids is pretty important.

I refuse to use Blizzardā€™s default AH. Iā€™m definitely using an addon for that.

different thread. How is this attacking anyone. Would be a raw experience to have a dedicated server on hard mode.

Never played Vanilla full time. Im running addons since ive always used them.

Personal preference and I donā€™t really care what others use.

I will probably install a UI mod fairly soon. The default UI isnā€™t my favourite, I learned this pretty early on. I also intend to heal this go around and itā€™s not great for that. Past that, I may hold off and install other stuff a little later on.

Except oQueue, or some equivalent. I did the trade/LFG chat spam back in the day and from what I saw in the test, itā€™s generally useless. An addon that lets you advertise groups and connect directly with people is a huge plus, Iā€™ll be getting that from the start since Iā€™m very much looking forward to experiencing the classic dungeons again :smiley:

For me it is worth Running some simple ones like DBM, some sort of damage meter, maybe a bag assistantā€¦ non game /mood breaking personal convenience and organization ones.

I did not imply anything. It would be much harder to play the game without add ons. Quit acting like your feelings are hurt. Geez. Really, where did I hurt you?
