ONE Pharaoh. They tried to erase the record of ONE Pharaoh who threw out the country’s whole religious system and replaced it with his own, and whose reign was the beginning of the decline of Egypt.
Jesus, if you’re going to try to cite history to (poorly) illustrate a point, at least get it right.
“Ezra is a biblical name meaning “help” or “helper” in Hebrew . The Ezra of the Bible was a Jewish priest who helped reintroduce the Torah to the Jewish people who escaped captivity in Babylon.”
Probably reaching but given Babylon has pretty strong symbolic implications.
The name altogether could mean something like helping us find our way back to God away from sin. However Babylon also stands for diversity.
Hatshepsut was a female pharoah that the men tried to erase. Akhenaten And Nefertiti were also attempted to be erased. And Horemheb tried to erase multiple pharoahs before him.

You seem to be confusing real life with a fantasy game. As far as I know Afrasiabi still exists, Blizzard does not have the power to erase him from history. C’mon now.
I know the Grimm fairytales, I just figured “Ezra Grimm” was a specific person either in lore or IRL they chose to use. A quick google search didn’t turn up anything conclusive for “Ezra Grimm” so I figured I’d ask.

It’s not remotely comparable at all. Don’t be absurd.
Removing the glorification of a creepy person is not in the same realm as removing that person’s history. His work will remain, his glorifications will not.
I did not miss the point, you were arguing that it’s the same thing ancient Egypt did. Blizzard removed a character from a video game named after a man, ancient Egypt erased a persons entire history in real life. It’s not the same at all.
