Im sorry but that is not true at all…literally.
I have VERY clear memories of back then and even my mom has a hard time believing that I can remember some of the stuff at that age.
I remember having an urge (thought is the wrong word. I dont remember ‘words’ in my head, just an urge) of wanting to bang one of my grandfathers friends in the head with a small ball peen hammer i was playing with as I was sitting in a cardboard box in the back yard.
The mans head kept poking out from under the car he was working on and I remember VERY vividly having the urge to bonk him in the head. Could have been from something I saw on TV, not sure about that detail.
So his head pokes out again and BONK. lol.
I remember him yelling after I did it, though dont remember the words.
Ive asked and my mom and grandfather both remembered the story and tell me the man was yelling “James, take the hammer away from the kid” lol
Mom has assured me that I was around 2 years old when it happened.
so you can call someone a liar in a juvenile manner for some reason, but that doesnt make you right.
I don’t enjoy WoW as much as I used to. It hasn’t captivated me since MoP, and I have about a month till my sub runs out. If there’s an interesting expansion, I’ll be back. If it’s something like the “backside of Azeroth” I won’t be.
I cant believe Ion caved to anyone whining about having too much OPTIONAL questing lmao.
I cant decide which is worse…his caving to the whining …or the whining about OPTIONAL content in the first place.
One thing for sure, that daily stuff kept me at least logging in frequently in SL even if I did hate the expansion.
If Ion is this easily pushed into making BAD decisions, maybe he should go back to doing raids instead.
It keeps me entertained.
If I wasn’t having fun I’d take a break, I’ve done that before.
When I come back if I am still enjoying myself, why not keep playing?
I plan on being here until the end, whenever that is.
I have my own in game agenda, it keeps me occupied.
Sometimes I need to take a break, but in general, yes. It pretty much checks all the boxes that are important to me to have fun. Probably will be playing as long as I can has well.
my s.o and I are taking a long break and playing other games. I uninstalled the game roughly 2 months ago and still have time until the end of the year. I did re-install today to do the halloween event and get the trading post stuff because October/Halloween is my fav holiday period but outside of this month I’m going back to not playing for a while. I’ve been playing this game for 17 years and I just get tired. I also work 55 hours a week and that takes up a lot of my time
Don’t know. I log on and grind out dailies. Do story content and level alts but I don’t really do the “meat” of the game so to speak. I don’t run Mythic+, I don’t raid, definitely don’t PvP. And if you ask others if you don’t do any of those three you aren’t really playing the game.
Well, if you ask the elite snobs who believe they are Gawd’s give to gaming they will tell you that you are not playing the game. And of course they have formed their own echo chamber to make it appear that they speak for “the players”.
They don’t. If you are paying to play a game, it’s up to you how you play it.
I mean, if we’re talking about artisan breads or seasoned rices or whatever, sure. I was sorta just referring to basic/plain breads and rice, in order to make a point for whoever believes WoW is bland and that WoW being bland would be a bad thing.
