Who else has to decide between WoW and Pokemon on Friday?

Tera raid battle? Are you sure you’re not talking about Pokémon Go to the Polls? Lol.

That is if you want to, pokemon voilet has the techno mon, where pokemon scarlet has a primal mon that you ride.

I’m revisiting the older Pokecraft games first, and that’ll take a while. So, it will be sometime before I even try Scarlet Crusade/Violet Citadel versions of Battle Pets.

Did you play sword and shield?

They introduced raids in that version which you can group up with 3 other players or NPCs to take on stronger pokemon with a higher chance to get better IVs.

Then in one of the expansions they added raid dungeons. So you could do those to shiny hunt legendaries.

They’re keeping the raids for scarlet/violet but added tera type pokemon. Which adds another type to pokemon.

:joy:

I mean I guess people keep buying them so I dunno.

No because even though we are getting both Pokémon games for my son’s birthday which is on Thursday I don’t really play them.

And also I don’t care about OCD collecting every single thing in WoW.

So Friday will just be a normal Friday.

WoW’s prepatch content shouldn’t be meaty enough to prevent a Pokemon playthrough. At least for me (don’t run too many alts).

Me. I so badly want to play Violet, but I’m going for Dragonflight first because I’ve already pre-purchased it.

4 armor appearances, 1 trinket, not much to do, unless you really want to gear everything up to 272. Myself I don’t care about the items levels you will replace with quested greens at level 61 lol. I doubt dragonflight pre patch content will take more than 4 or 5 days to get everything important done.

I personally like to gear out alts at least somewhat because that first half hour in a new expansion in subpar gear sucks and even then.

Not saying that’s a bad thing, it’s a relief to log onto WoW, do what you want, and log off for once instead of infinitely grind like we have been encouraged to for basically 3 expacks now.

Gah I am not yet ready for the next Pokémon! Still shiny hunting in Sword and Shield, and finishing up Arceus.

So much gaming to do, never enough time.

Not me. I refuse to get Pokemon because I need to prove to myself that I actually use my Switch. Arceus is barely touched.

you need roughly 530 of the new tokens to buy a full set (more if there are multiple weapons) and according to people who tested it on beta you got “a lot” during an event. the tokens are also supposedly BoA so you could do everything on 1 character and then send them to an alt to buy the armor with. only thing of note will be that you will most likely have to have said alt be level 60 to actually buy the armor.

then again the 530 token price also includes a necklace and ring(s?) so if all you care about is transmog you could get it cheaper than that.

Sounds like shiny hunting in scarlet/violet will be a ton easier. With special sandwiches you make/eat!

Mass Outbreaks are also back, which apparently have increased shiny odds.

They also don’t disappear. They’re day-long. (like, real life day). So you can just keep KOing the same pokemon over and over and over and they’ll keep spawning in the outbreak. Lol.

At least from what I’ve read.

Oh nice, no one seemed to be reporting that one in the YouTube channels I was watching! The sandwiches ham origins have been discussed in great details though… lol

I’ve heard of fps problems and other tech issues so I’m holding off on pokemon for now. I also hated Sword and Shield which is another reason why I’m holding off. Until I get the clear that it’s fun I can wait so guess I’m wowing.

Most were fixed with the Day 1 Patch.

The only FPS issues people with legitimate copies have mentioned is going up/down certain hills, which will likely be fixed in another patch.

A big problem was the first rom was dumped with difficulty and it created a lot of issues on its own. Then there’s the fact most people were emulating it and that caused more issues lol.

If you know where to look and how to do it, you can play the new Pokemon game now, like I’m doing at this very second.

Not me.
No way I’m dropping 110 bucks on pokemon.
