It’s not that they literally yoshi me in the ear, it’s the whole going from being in a group to suddenly being one on one (i.e., the “intimacy level” increased and I was not ready to bump things up to a one on one conversation).

I will never understand why modern humans are so disturbed by text typed by other people they have never met.
Just look at all the “account wide ignore” thread people and all the suffering they seem to be enduring over it.
I AM starting to understand why people say “touch grass” lately. A lot of people would be much better off if they became more grounded in reality.
I’m no I do not have remotely the reaction to a whisper in game.
Except based on the context of why they are whispering me. If you make me laugh or support my point in a convo fine if you whisper to just be weird or bothersome than yeah don’t do that.

I’m not disturbed by it (I mostly just find the idea amusing, so I posted the thread).
But there’s definitely a big problem in the world where people are increasingly isolated from a young age, which is causing generations of people who can’t handle socialization. Helicopter parents, urban sprawl and suburbia, cars, and (ironically) the Internet; it all builds a life of isolation from a young age. Humanity doesn’t really do close nit communities anymore, and I think that’s why you get a lot of people these days who don’t know how to socialize and who don’t know how to handle differences of opinion and the like.
