And scabbards for swords and loops/clasps for 1H axes and maxes/hammers.
A belt TMog that adds a big fluffy tail that Worgens and other furries can use to their heart’s content.
This, just so that people can stop bumping that nearly 4 year old “Give Worgen Tails” post
plain white pants and shirts without tears or frills.
plain clothes in general without an assault of colors on your eyes
more variety in non robe chest pieces for cloth classes.
They’re adding a bunch of 1 shoulder cloaks sometime soon. Wowhead had a post about it some weeks back. Around the time the peacock mounts were datamined, I think.
A Felguard ensamble has been datamined including wings! It has 2 shades of armour. Lets hope its not just for npcs during the draenei heritage
The Battlespoon. It was datamined before the trading post even debuted, but never showed up.
That would be fun.
I’d like Demon wings with interesting idle animations. Like, when you’re resting the wings might buffet or flutter, or they might wrap around you. That would be pretty cool.
I think Blizzard should explore idle animations or triggered event animations for gear. This sort of thing could be really good for the aesthetic value progression we see from expansion to expansion.
Mog options for druid forms, like jewelry or armor.
Also more casualwear, like just nice shirts/pants.
Never understood the fascination with heels in battle. Probably people who never had to spend a day in them.
While I’m waiting for cata to reboot, I went back to retail and found that nearly everything I pick up is or has been saved or collected within my collections… grey and white items/gear even… when did this change and my list is now getting crowded with useless collections… There should be a way to remove these things or at least stop collecting these items or just allow me to check a box saying i wanted to collect this item etc… not collect everything…
Heels would be great.
Whip and/or Chain mogs for one handed weapons.
Trench coats
(As I read it… it almost sounds like a shopping list for a suspicious character at a public park….)
Frostmourne…
I just want to double down on my part about the items based on animals you’d kill. I think if you kill a green fel wolf, you should be able to loot a green fell wolf helm, or belt, or gloves or shoulders, that look like the green fel wolf fur, it’s head on your head, or a head on each shoulder, or it’s front paws draped over your shoulders or it’s hide and tail as your clock.
If you kill a skeletal raptor, there should be a raptor skull helm or shoulders etc etc.
How cool would it be for hunters to go out hunting for shoulders that look like fire wings from one of the fire birds in game, or the body/legs of a lava spider that would drape over your shoulders, or a visible necklace of dragon teeth from killing a dragon, or some kind of belt, helm, or shoulders of a mech cat or mech dog for those into mech pets. Would be so cool to have gear based on animals you hunted and killed.
It’s probably too late in the game for items from previous expansions, but how neat would it have been if they always did that. Instead of a generic brown belt from starting zones you’d get a tallstrider skull to sit on your head or shoulders, or the claws of a cat drape over your shoulders instead of a mail chest piece somehow inside of a cat, lol.
I could talk about this all day…
It’s for the same reason people like things like bikini armor, giant shoulderpads, sheathing swords on the back (somehow), etc.
Would they be absolutely impractical in real combat? Yes. But this is not real combat. This is fantasy. We can suspend disbelief and do impractical things because they look good.
In fact, 90% of what we do here is suspension of disbelief. If we can believe a Gnome Warrior is strong enough to lift a giant sword and hit Deathwing in the face with it, why not do it in heels?
- Shado-Pan uniform and the helmet that you see some of them wearing instead of the usual hat and scarf
- Armor and tabard of Lord Daval Prestor (Deathwing’s visage form)
- Twilight’s Hammer warglaive model that you see the drakonids in Blackrock Caverns using
Stormwind Guard gloves.
Sounds like Friday night…
Well thank you SO much for that visual…
Eyepatches for every armor class!
