Which race is the most Durable

The Pandaren, they can adapt, can live off food longer with their buff and don’t need much as they take life slow to savour it. :pancakes:

That’s an excellent point.

You mean they can life off food longer and don’t need as much because they’re fat.

If the narrative played out without any sort of gameplay shenanigans, ie everything has to be roughly equal, the Draenei and Lightforged would win as their Naaru based technology makes even the most brilliant of the gnomes look primitive.

That said, thanks to gameplay, these space faring immortals can be overcome by a few trolls armed with body odor and gumption.

The Draenei really, really do awful things to the idea of technological balance in this franchise.

apparently draenei they just won’t die despite everyone that’s tried

Excluding simple things like stone mallet vs steel hammer,I try to keep the idea of technological sophistication out of my mind when playing this game. It makes absolutely no sense that in a world where aspects of technology are superior to their real life counterparts that I’d be walking around with a sword trying to kill things by hacking at them. So I just rationalize it as “The rules of physics/reality work differently in Azeroth than they do in real life”.

Even isolating Azeroth to its own bubble, though, the “sword and sorcery” bit falls apart completely.

Thinking of all the “shooting gallery” quests, we have automatic cannons and machine guns. Forgetting any “real” physics, just in Azeroth, along Azerothinan lines, everyone should be a Hunter with a rapid-fire bazooka.

Thats what I mean. When I step on a helicarrier with ballistics it makes you wonder why you’re using a stone age weapon. Its best just to think “the rules of reality function differently than in real life”. Like how in comics and cartoons a character can be knocked out by a blow to the head and come to a couple minutes later like they just woke up, rather than being severely impaired from head trauma.

Yeah, but there the rules are consistent. Yeah, Wile E. Coyote is basically explosion and impact proof, shrugging off lethal damage like a champ. But then imagine they just randomly had a recovery montage with triumphant music and scenes of physical therapy and learning to walk again. It’s brutal, triumphant, detailed, and visceral, but he makes his recovery and goes on to hunt another day.

And then they turn around, blow him up again, and he’s just fine three seconds later.

That’s the problem with trying to make sense of Azeroth. It doesn’t have its own rules, it has whatever it feels like at any given time, and then never again no where else, maybe, until it changes its mind later.

Draenei, have you seen what this guys went through? Genocide after Genocide and they keep going.

Thats why I’m saying don’t try to make sense of it, just accept whats happening is happening in a fantasy universe and there can’t be consistency with multiple writers working on a property that spans multiple decades and needs to factor in gameplay mechanics, continuations in other media, etc. Its why a dude with a big hammer can take down powerful sorcerers one minute and be felled by a pointy stick the next. Its rule of cool. It happens in lots of places.

Trolls. They’re regenerating 5hps and there’s nothing you can do about it.

Don’t offend the Pandren!

I thought they were supposed to be jolly and zen

They have feelings too

Aye lad we are durable. They only way to beat a dwarf is to be a dwarf.

Void Elves as well as well any other race that can survive the mating procedures with a Demigod. :wine_glass:

Individually or as an army?
As an army forsaken beat everyone by far, for being sustained by necromantic magic they feel no pain, they don’t starve, don’t need to sleep and are much more resistant to weather than the other races. Perfect soldiers right there.

Kul Tirans. Lost an arm? Just brush it off, and walk it off after.

It would be orcs obviously. They live for war, honor and battle

Trained , built, brought up to be a warrior
