I know that the Hero’s Call Board/ Warchief’s Command quest used to have a level limit. Adventurers Wanted: Blackrock Depths was keep in the game and has a level limit. The quest given by Skar’this in the Slave Pens: The Mark of Vashj and The Cudgel of Kar’desh can only be picked up at level 70 on heroics mode, get past that level and they are gone.
Are there anymore quest that has a max level limit like that? I am a completionist and would rather avoid missing any. I know its stupid, but some people make a challenge to complete everything even if there is no reason to, some raid, some RP and there people like me who don’t raid, but is a quest completionism.
No quest that I know of has a max level limit. However, once you have leveled beyond the quest it will no longer appear as an exclamation point on the quest giver. You should still be able to talk to the NPC and get the quest though.
In the interface panel, there is an option to display low level quests - that will cause them to appear as grayed out exclamation points on the map.
On that note - the Heroes Call board definitely will give you level appropriate bridge quests - i.e. they aren’t the actual start of questlines, they’re just pointing you to where those questlines start. You can still go to the associated zones and pick up quests (but they’ll be low-level to you).
The Hero’s Call/Warchief’s Command board quests are the only ones with “level cap” limits after which point they are no longer accessible… However those quests all have corollary quests in other zones which lead you to the exact same place.
I don’t know if it’s a limit… but you can’t complete it at some point that I can’t quite determine. If you kill nefarian you get a quest, you can complete the first leg to the king but the second leg takes you to a quest giver right near the stormwind gates, this quest giver is phased and cannot be interacted with by max level characters rendering the quest impossible to complete (on alliance, on horde the corresponding person is very much accessible).
You probably have an old, phased quest in your log, like the Broken Shore locket or something similar.
Nope, quest log was clean it’s an issue with the “troup build up” that’s only visible to top level players in stormwind as best I can tell.

I may have to try this, if so it’s an oddly hilarious bug that a PvE only quest can only be completed in War Mode.
Weird, but not surprising. We’re overlapping so much new content on top of old content as the expansions pile up. One of the wowhead commentators suggested grouping with a low level player so you’d be in their phase, if you don’t want to go Warmode.
I know its an old post i made before, but i just want to make sure before i remove the level eliminator and move on, gonna come back at level 90 or something since i keep encountering 5 man quest group quest and its getting annoying to ask around for help.
