Which old raids could still use QoL for solo farming runs?

To throw a pebble onto the pile, the treasure elemental boss in BoD despawns if you pull him when solo as someone has to be in both hallways for their respective golems to not get pulled out and reset. They either need to disable them resetting or just remove the need to do that part of the fight.

No, might be a mistake on my part, lol.

Throne of Thunder’s unskippable cutscene that has a skip cutscene button that I’m guessing just gives a dev somewhere release every time someone clicks it.

Wait huh? Multiple legion bosses have been made easier, Eonar used to be near impossible to solo now once you have it down it’s a cake walk. Same for Agramar and coven

TBF I really, really like the humble bragging threads.

Must have changed their minds from the initial statement “oh you’ll just get gear and it’ll naturally be easier. just wait.”

So can any class go into mythic ToS or Antorus and faceroll it?

Should put them on ignore and mute all of their threads. They’re not a nice person.

Most of these are not ‘quality of life’ requests. Skips, cut the content down, speed up scenarios/role-play up, ect, are not quality of life requests.

Quality of life requests are making something that upgrades a person’s quality of life doable for them. For instance, seeing someone with mobility issues settled in an apartment building with an elevator or on the ground floor, or someone who can no longer drive due to sight loss, settled in a place within walking distance to life necessities like a grocery store, drug store, ect.

These are ‘I don’t want to put time, effort and energy into earning rewards, so just make it so I can put in the least amount possible’ requests.

And my rebuttal is: If you don’t like doing the content, don’t. No one is making you, and legacy rewards are unnecessary to play the game.

And I really wish people would stop asking Blizzard to butcher content because they don’t want to play the game. Blizzard is ruining the game just fine without your help.

Personally, for Icecrown Citadel, I would like to see the Gunship Battle fixed and fully restored and the Valithria Dreamwalker encounter restored to it’s original importance but made doable by non-healers.

See, those are quality of life requests. Authentic Quality of Life requests don’t involve skips in life, they involve making life doable.

theres an enchant that does different types of damage, Force of Nature? something like that, put that on a fast 1h weapon, use something to increase haste when he freezes, and your done. the 1h damage doesnt even matter, just make sure its fast. thats how i got it done easy on this guy.

That’s merely a setback. :sunglasses:

ICC.

I’ve run that raid so many times without Invincible dropping, 200-300 can’t remember, and I hate it now. It used to be my favorite raid but I hate it. HATE IT!

Even worse is that I have all my toons set to heroic 25 man raids but sometimes when I enter ICC it switches it to normal. That is beyond annoying. I just came back after being gone for about a year and had that happen on my 2nd run. Entered and forgot it can switch and killed first boss looked at map and it said normal. :frowning:

EDIT: Reducing or removing Corrupted Momentos needed to upgrade that stupid skill system so I can buy backpack and mount would be nice.

Considering Blizz themselves in an official post called items stacking 200 instead of 20 a QoL change I think they agree with our game related definition.

But if you want to keep to your own real life soapbox definition more power to you.

Just flag them for trolling. It’s not the first time they’ve gone on a random crusade about the definition of “quality of life.”

Happiness is a metric that’s measured when it comes to determining our lives’ quality.

If our happiness improves–so does our quality of life.

So basically, just tell Silverleigh to go away, since they never have anything substantial to add to any conversation, ever.

My QoL feature i would love to see is for the Trial of Valor fight to have a reduced damage reduction multiplier on the two adds before Odin. 99% is a bit too much.

Make it 75% and we’re golden!

Thanks for the support!!!

Yeah the Odin fight could get the same treatment as Coven, if you’re soloing the damage reduction doesn’t apply. If you do it as a group it’s still normal.

Yeah they stuck to that stance for a long time, I think it was only nerfed a couple months ago. Anyone can face roll isn’t quite true yet, a few fights like Argus and I think Avatar are medium-ish DPS checks.

Eonar is doable but it does have a pretty specific movement rotation you need to avoid wiping to the ship.

I’m going to argue with you using your own words.

A disabled person seeking an elevator on the ground floor so they don’t have to use the stairs, or a visually impaired driver seeking to relocate closer to a store…

…those are not quality of life things.

Those are individuals who don’t want to put in the time or effort to gain the satisfaction or reward of using the stairs or driving to the store.

Now if you actually wanted to make an argument, which still has absolutely nothing to do with this thread, you’d simply state that your examples would be examples of persons seeking an accommodation for a disability.

I guess you could rent-a-frost-mage.

Which has been a very long standing problem with wow and the dev team.

I’m of the opinion that raids from two expansions ago should be able to be facerolled just like any raid prior to Legion. I don’t think you’re defending it but it’s blatant disrespect to players when they stick to their asinine decisions like this.

Un-nerf bear tartare.

Lots of bosses are just plain out boring to fight as legacy content due to unskippable RP and/or phases with fixed durations (that’re too long as legacy content) during which the boss can’t be attacked/killed. Razorgore in Blackwing Lair (which has already been adjusted at least once in the past), Kael’thas in The Eye, Illidan in Black Temple, Gothik and Kel’thuzad in Naxxramas, Razorscale in Ulduar, Blackhorn and Spine in Dragon Soul, Will of the Emperor in Mogu’shan Vaults, Megaera in Throne of Thunder, Galakras in Siege of Orgrimmar (like Razorgore, has already been adjusted at least once), Kargath and (on mythic only) Mar’gok in Highmaul, Blast Furnace in Blackrock Foundry, Il’gynoth in Emerald Nightmare, and Elisande in Nighthold are all encounters that I think could be improved with some way to bypass these speed bumps.

AQ40 has Viscidus, with its unique (but is kind of a headache for most classes/specs) method of defeat; and the royalty, which can bug (heh) out if you don’t kill only one of them at a time.

Fishing up The Lurker Below in Serpentshrine Cavern is pretty flavorful, but they could add a clickable object to ‘fish’ it up instead of the RNG involved with actually fishing.

Everything else honestly seems fine to me, or is kinda ‘too soon’ to be really looked at for adjustment or I forgot something. I’m not really in favor of adding any skips that outright bypass bosses just for the sake of saving time though, unless it’s something Blizzard saw fit to include in the initial release of the instance. Some instances are just going to take longer than others to farm, and that’s fine in my book.

I generally agree that once content is that old we should just be able to stomp them.

The other annoying things is bosses that can literally bug out permanently if you kill then too fast, the paragons in SoO do that if you kill two instead of one at a time and they aren’t last
