Which expansion was better WRATH of THE LICH KING OR LEGION

Wrath was overrated by Wrath babies.

Wrath. Legion was the beginning of the SystemLand expansions.

Which phase of Wrath? Early wrath: DKs were kind of a mess.
Middle Wrath: DKs finally found their notches (after a rework)
End of wrath: That’s when the new talent system started right?

Wrath easily. Legion was a polished turd after a few patches

On my server… back in wrath… the weekly raid quest was easy to pug if you needed to. And this was on a server not even remotely known for it’s raiding community.

Wrath hands down. Holy Paladin was a hero class onto itself. So powerful Blizzard had to retire it and start over.

Legion

All were good compared to SL. lol.

Wrath easily imo. It is the best mmo expansion ever made. I had more fun in it than classic and that is saying alot.

Wrath to me is a 10/10. I would give Legion a 7.5/10. I loved the content in Legion, loved the zones, artifact weapons and traits. I hated the time gated content and I hated M+.

I like both

Better as in by looking at it objectively, which one was better? Legion, of course. A lot more of things to do, and they were fun. I enjoyed it.

Better as in which one did I enjoy more? Wotlk. Probably because I was younger. Ahh, to be 16 again…

Story and feeling wise WotLK. Mostly because of the end of Arthas story, Zul’drakk and WC3 was still respected.
Even though the sciurhe wasn’t that threatening during WotLK and WoW nur Way better than the retcons and the joke the Legion was made to be in Legion. It was so bad.

Legion

There was a million times more things to do in it.

Wrath was my #1.

Wrath. Not even a competition.

Wrath.

Legion might be considered a “good” expansion, but the comparison isn’t one to one. Yes, Wrath was followed by Cataclysm, once the “worst” expansion (and one wildly underrated in hindsight), but it came after Burning Crusade, the first and still for many greatest Expansion ever. Legion’s credit hinges a lot on account of both

Average looks tall when sandwiched between two midgets standing in holes up to their waists (neck for BfA).

Overall I’d say Wrath was better.

I liked all the expansions pretty much equally but Legion nudged out MoP as my all time favorite.

WotLK for the story, and for keeping me invested that way.

Legion for gameplay. Was the most fun I ever had… whether my affliction warlock, Guardian druid or my Prot warrior… it was ALL fun. (all 3 of those went to hell in BFA… and only Guardian is even playable now)

WOTLK by light years. Legion was meh.
