Legion because of Transmog of course.

Wrath armor didn’t look that bad though.

Legion really wasn’t considered good until the end. Lots of complaints about RNG and grinding. I don’t recall any consistent complaints from the playerbase as a whole during wrath. Could be the rose colored goggles though.

I remember some pvp complaints about the DK/Ret Pal 2s combo, and then Arms Warriors with Shadowmourne, then maybe the beginning of “GOGOGO is killing dungeons” when they introduced the tool and people started blitzing 5 mans.

Legion wasn’t very good until later patches. All classes were very bad if they didn’t have a BiS lego.

Legion was my personal favorite so I’ll pick that one.

Ditto, I started playing on the tail-end of BC but of all the xPacs, WoTLK was by far my favorite.

I preferred Wrath of the Lich King, but both were excellent expansions, in my opinion.

Wrath but Legion was a close second. I never liked Burning Crusade nearly as much as some folks do but it was pretty good. But Wrath really knocked it out of the park.

Legion. It was the best expansion in term of class fantasy and solo content.

WotLK because it didn’t have any Demon Hunters and Warlocks had recently obtained Metamorphosis.

I can’t really partake as I wasn’t playing WotLK.

But Legion is one of my favorite expansions to date and I kind of doubt it would matter much tbh even if I did play WotLK.

I was a wee child when Wrath came out.

I had a lot fun in Legion. Playing with friends, working on the secret puzzles, paragon caches, mythics, unlocking hidden weapon mogs, and underbelly.

Wrath, but not by much. Legion is the second best expansion this game has had.

The one thing they both share is that they were both followed up by complete duds.

WOTLK hands down, no competition. Legion sucked in my opinion

Obviously subjective but Legion was my favorite.

Absolutely loved all the class specific content.

WotLK, hands down. Gear was gear and the was nothing that AP could be. And no Mythyic+. Mythic+ and AP ruined this game.

WotLK. Great content, solid raids. No M+, no tedious combat table, borrowed power, or stupid requirements to fly.
