WOTLK had the best writing. Mostly because we knew who the villain was and what he was doing. There wasn’t a secret mystery playing out that was never explained. Just an evil lich trying to turn us all undead and we had to kill him. We still don’t know what the jailer was talking about or where iridikron went or what the hell xalatath is trying to do.
