nobody has said legion???
from a pure art perspective that expansion was definitley ahead of everything else. I feel like people are just mentioning their favorite expansion.
MoP seriously? jade forest is just mountains and trees cant be serious.
Legion while it had a lot of green, argus was awesome and felt like nothing else in the game.
Zone wise it’s hard to compete with MoP because the Jade Forest is stunning.
In terms of gear and weapons, Legion wins and it’s not even close.
MoP easy but WotLK’s Grizzly Hills holds my heart.
The art is better every expansion. So right now, Shadowlands
Gosh, I don’t know if I could pick 1. I feel like BFA was truly well done though and DF looks very promising from the art department!
kekw
On-topic, definitely Legion. Like, no contest. Not even an actual contest. Legion is WoW at its peak in terms of being Warcraft. Legion is Warcraft, Warcraft is Legion.
MoP and Legion for me…ESPECIALLY Suramar…absolutely amazing
Music:Visual howling fjord will always stick for me. Sholazar is a fun a experience.
I dont remember the pirate zones sounding as “piratey” as they could have. Maybe I’m tainted by potc.
I really liked wod. I think the zones being small is the only downside to the potential for that expansion. Expand them to 3x the size and they are perfect… the native gron could probably traverse the entire planet in a day.
My two favorites for art are TBC and WoD. WoD Nagrand is at the top of my list for favorite zones.
Semper Fi!
Yep I love the hard modes. That place was just amazing. It should be the archetype for all raids going forward.
MOP by far. And DF is gladly going in the same direction
I quite like BFA I’ll admit. It was great to have a desert and marsh zone which we hadn’t had in a while. They were done well too! All those awesome riverside marshes, the deep pool where that rare fish is. The little things were great.
For DF I definitely would like to see how the plains turn out. Mulgore was such an awesome zone but, I don’t know of anything recent at least that was similar. Drustvar was pretty epic too!
Some of the Legion skyboxes were amazing. I loved the Argus art. Seeing all that land floating in the sky really made the zones feel bigger.
Shadowlands is pretty and all, but the disconnect between the zones and Oribos being terrible as a capital city really did a number on how the world was received.
Wrath if you consider the raids - no contest
As far as?
For tier I’d say TBC. Class specific sets were very nice
I loved BfA. Dragonflight looks like it’s gonna have the best.
Some of the skyboxes genuinely make me feel awe in this game. Very, very pretty works of art.
Shadowlands…
Bastion and Ardenweald are super beautiful
