I’ve always been partial to the Green and Red, especially now because I love Preservation Evoker so much, and those are my two favorite colors.
Ysera and Alexstrasza have always been my favorite aspects and I think their designs have only become better overtime. And I love the lore of dragons being protectors and caretakers of Azeroth and having this embodied in both martial prowess AND healing and lifegiving is really cool to me. (A Paladin subclass empowered by the flames of the Red Dragonflight for healing AND damage would be super fun I think.)
Nozdormu and the Bronze flight I do find a little boring, but that’s mostly because time travel and time powers always kind of bother me because they usually do more harm than good haha
Black dragonflight is cool and tragic and fun overall but I just honestly don’t like Wrathion that much, his character archetype always kind of annoys me.

I’ve always loved the green flight. I feel like they don’t get enough credit. The magic of life, illusion, sleep and venom sounds like a textbook example of assassins build. They have their own pocket dimension, to counter time magic just being inside a Dream.
Their connection with titans, wild gods, Elune and now Ardenweld gives them the huge aura of mystery. Green dragons see future in dreams and can disappear whenever they want. Even if they are physically weakest, they make up for it with many other strengths

I always liked the Black Dragonflight, particularly as Deathwing got a bit more 3-dimensional with things like the WotA trilogy and the Charge of the Aspects short story. I will always praise whichever dev put in the mural of Neltharion in Aberrus where he is being depicted as Atlas. Holding the weight of the world on his shoulders, both figuratively and to some extent, very literally.
Noble protectors who fell into madness because their leader succumbed under the pressure of his own power. How he became to see it as a curse and not a gift. How N’zoth manipulated this feeling for his own benefit. Even without Deathwings direct influence, certain members of the Black Dragonflight willingly or otherwise continued on his work, particularly his eldest son and daughter. But also his former Prime Consort. Yet there was a spark of hope that the plague of madness could finally be removed. We soon encounter members of the flight that have either managed to escape the madness completely (Wrathion and Ebyssian), have spend such a long time away from Azeroth that N’zoths influence faded away, such as those on Outland. Or that for the time being, our interests are shared, such as Nalice and Serinar during Wrath. The latter of which hasn’t been seen since. I still want to know what made Obsidia return from Outland to Azeroth during Cata. She was the only one of the Outland Black Dragons that appeared to still be loyal to Deathwing, or was she forced to return against her will? We know Sinestra was on Outland during TBC prior to her death in the novel Night of the Dragon.
And speaking of Outland, we have to also factor the Netherwing Dragonflight in this as well. As they were once Black Dragons. Kinda wished we got to see more of that connection in Dragonflight beyond Wrathion interacting with them. And of course we have the Twilight Dragonflight as a player in this as well. Really hoping we see them again in the World Soul saga, in particular a certain one that has not been seen since Cata.
Let’s just hope that Ebyssian does not fall down the same path as his father now that he is the Earth Warder, powers and all.

The Chromatic and the Twightlights Dragonflights…
Chromatus is still somewhere lock up waiting for the right plot to have him animated in WoW as well as a few Chromatic Dragons… always been my fav lore bit from the Dragonflights. However now with the perfected Dracthyr and super soldiers Evokers, as playable I often wonder if this would invalidate their existence since they were created too with a similar goal in mind.
Also I always love the Twilights Dragonflight, although I’m not sure if they are still consider a Flight anymore since we saw in other places full Void Dragons.
I’m not sure if we would ever see them both again developed beyond being servants of someone else ambitions.
I also like the Netherwings and Frostwyrms but I can’t remember if they are part of full Dragonflights…
If your talking about the Aspects flights I always like the Red and Blue specially. I also intrigue about the new 6th Dragonflight added… I wonder if we would ever see it developed and if Vyranoth would get a new humanoid/Dragon Sprite in the future she being a both a Primal Incarnate and Aspect of the Storm bless directly by Azeroth would have her evolve in some shape or form visually and physically.

I always liked the Blue Dragonflight.
I like that they like the cold - I like the cold, myself.
Also, Malygos seemed really cool before he went crazy from getting his flight wiped out by Deathwing. Like a good humored wise guy.

I’ve never been super enamored with the dragons in WoW but probably Blue overall. Bronze is boring and contrived like all time travel stuff, Red are a bit too generic, Green are just kind of in the general Night Elf/Cenarion soup of Emerald Dream stuff. Blue dragons have a bit more going on with their interactions with the wider world but share the same issue of the Black flight of “got hit with the Madness bat.”
Vyranoth’s flight is the most interesting current one just because the various misfit “flights” are more compelling than any of the boring, kinda generic “ordered” flights, and it was fun to see the Netherwing come back and not just get rolled into the Black flight. I will say though, I also liked the politicking between Sabellian and Wrathion; their story post-deathwing is probably the most compelling of the “main five” flights.

Blue is my favouritte. I am a sucker for the whole magic and knowledge thing. My second favourite is Bronze. After that is goes, in order, Black, Green, and Red.

Greens were one of the coolest concepts in WoW, until they started fleshing them out. Now they’re just the Night Elf Dragonflight.
