Which class will be your main in DF?

All of them and also none of them…I have a problem. :joy:

Hunter and shaman, with rogue and paladin elbowing their way in later on. If they make as much of a mess with the spec trees as they did with the covenants though that might change. I will never forget the “choose what you like” and then the dps gap between necrolord and nightfae for BM was laughable. If they pull that nonsense again and let’s face it, I think they will as it’s just their way of doing things… then choices will have to be revisited.

Take druid as an example…4 specs and none use same stats. So gotta gear it like several alts anyways ^^

Paladin.

I’ll play around and see how Evoker is, but not really jazzed over the class. Would like to see more variety for the Dracthyr race.

I’d like to main a ranged class. So either Evoker or Warlock with DH as an alt.

i haven’t decided yet. i will definitely keep my brewmaster and rsham going for keys. dps-wise i have no clue. i would like to play shadow again, but outlaw feels great at the moment and i’m hoping it stays decent. and of course i’m going to try evoker out early on.

it’s just too early to tell!

Druid. Always Druid. Always THIS Druid. This Druid has been my main toon since I started in WoTLK.

As of right now, based on what we have seen.
Outlaw Rogue.

However I’m still waiting to see the trees for,

Ret Pally
Arms and Prot warrior

With Havok DH an outlier.

Gotta see all the trees first.

I see a lot of people eyeing up shaman. Do people feel they will be getting some love this expansion? I also really loved feral Druid but I haven’t enjoyed it since wrath to be honest.

Hunter and Warlock, my two favorites. I’ll try out the evoker as I’m sure most will but don’t see it replacing my top two.

My Paladin for sure. My alts will probably be my warlock, warrior and shaman.

Same ones its always been, warrior, i lookforward to seeing more of the abilities that made my class stripped away and given to others.

Evoker if i think it’s fun. DH if it isn’t (and they don’t butcher the DH talent tree)

I want to be ranged again, and i want a healing off spec instead of a a tanking off spec because i actually like healing.

Mechancially it is everything i wanted out of a ranged dps, very mobile and a simple base rotation, though the 25 yard range is weird, but i’ll get over that.

Depends on the Demon Hunter tree that is hopefully released tomorrow. If its terrible, I’m going Evoker.

Everything is up in the air with the talent trees for me. Since Dracthyr Evokers can’t tank and don’t have a melee spec I don’t believe I will have any interest in them. So, it really depends on what they hit out of the park. Might be my Druid, could be my Paladin, maybe even this very DK, hell could be my Hunter or Shaman. I have options open to me and ready to go.

Not evoker. That’ll be 70% of the playerbase. Getting this warrior ready I guess. Alted warrior, but never mained. Hoping for sword and board dps 8)

No idea. I started using the prepatch and PTR to play with things and make that decision starting with Legion. I’ll do the same this time. No point in try to narrow it down while things are still changing a lot, and actually trying it will always be better than reading some tooltips on Wowhead.

That said, Shaman has a really solid talent tree that actually makes you make choices, which is more than many of them can say. As much as I really don’t want to default to Shaman (its my most played class by far and I’d like to spend more time on other classes), that’s definitely a possibility.

But like I said, I’ll be trying things out with template characters or whatever on the PTR when the prepatch is coming.

I’ll probably main this toon and stick with BM, but I might dabble with MM if I don’t need to play without a pet. I’ll certainly play an evoker but probably won’t main it.

Just a solid class all around tbh. I’ve always loved dual wielding, and I occasionally enjoy healing as well, so shaman was a perfect fit for me. They also bring in raid utility, which is definitely beneficial
