Which Blizzard Einstein?

… thought it would be a good idea to not allow hunters to name
their rare pets any more? Obviously it’s one that has never played
a hunter, and why are people like this allowed to mess with classes they have no business touching?

It’s to keep the authenticity of the rare.

once you tame a rare, dismiss it, log out and use the certificate of ownership. afterward its good to go.

This is a pretty valid complaint, actually. It makes no sense to have to use a certificate right as you get the pet.

What? Isn’t every hunter an engineer?

I like the iea of keeping the name on a Rare Pet.
It’s nearly impossible for Me to remember the names of these.
If I want to Name a Pet? I will grab an Elite, or a Quest target and re-name that one.
I have a few of those as well. but, My Passion ?
The Rare’s I find.
