Also, Varian (and Volājin) died at the start of Legion. How many Alliance heroes and characters have died since then vs Horde? Heck, how many High Kings have the Alliance lost vs Horde Warchiefs? The Warchief position is the WoW version of Defence against the Dark Arts teacher position from Harry Potter. Itās cursed.

Hey, if weāre choosing to be fair, Varian went out in a blaze of glory, taking down a massive felreaver and took down hordes of demons on his way out.
Our warchief got backstabbed by trash and got manipulated by Sylvanas.
And how many times have you talked to dead Volājin since? He may as well never died.
Yeah and thats why I think heās gonna come back like Volājin next xpac. Plus they updated his model and voicelines in BfA. So they are obviously going to reuse those assets.
You can one-shot fel reavers since the PC is basically god at this point.

Theyāre referring to Volājin. Varianās soul should have been destroyed if Blizzard actually follows their own rules of magic for once.
Volājin might be back, or he can just hang out in spirit form and hand out quests like heās already doing, death doesnāt appear to affect Trolls if we go by their raids and dungeons.
Volājinās had one optional quest line in BfA. Varian got his too, on the Broken Shore with Anduin. Varianās also had dozen of references and appearances since then via Anduinās continuing storyline including in cinematics, and will likely have more as Anduin continues to try to live up to the shadow left by his father. Has Volājin appeared in any cinematics in BfA like Varian has? Nope.
I honestly wouldnāt be surprised if they do a Mufasa REMEBER WHO YOU ARE scene between the two later, with how much they STILL talk about Varian. Thereās also Varianās patron, Goldrinn, that still lives on. Varianās story is faaaar from over.
Kill them all. Let individual players be a faction leader. Random selection from all max level players that are logged in on that given day. You are hunted by opposite faction but you get a +1000% to all stats as a consequence.
Alliance talk about Varian because what the hell else are they gonna talk about, Varian dying is the only story significant thing thatās happened to the Alliance since well forever. And we know Teldrassil and Theramore will be pretty much ignored completely. Alliance shouldāve torn itself apart by now. But no, this is the Hordes interfactional storyā¦ againā¦ maybe you Alliance will get some sort of conflict in your faction someday.
Nah theyāll probably delete the Alliance before doing that.
