Where to the Tauren fit in now with the horde?

Looking at it as a horde player, my main is a BE DK, I turned on Sylvanas.

I like her character but not in this expac. In BfA she seems sloppy and lazy and that doesn’t jibe with the Sylvanas of the past so it’s odd to me and why I think she may be a fake.

I think, (could be wrong, just my opinion) many players horde side don’t like what she’s done as it doesn’t make a whole lot of sense and again, is lazy and sloppy in dealing with Malfurion and then setting the tree on fire when Darnassus would have been much better as a hostage.

Then Saurfang is an element but not a strong enough one to really sway anyone but then he goes and gets Thrall, teamed up they’re both strong enough, along with Baine, to get more horde on their side.
Both players and ingame characters on their side. They team up with alliance leaders/faction and, I suspect, that is how we will defeat an old god, N’zoth.

The faction pride thing isn’t really there anymore. This is my opinion but I don’t think many players at all hate the other faction.
Some may make some noise about it, but it’s not sincere. I think Blizzard kind of dropped the ball in that sense, story and game wise.

Alliance does have a story but it’s a subtle one of mostly political sparring and intrigue, perhaps too subtle for a game like this so some have grown bored and moved over to horde side where they’re further disappointed but the thing is, there’s something coming.

Idk what it is and I’m hoping it’s good. It’s got to be because that’ll give BfA some measure of success as an expac and hopefully lead to something even better next expac.

As for leaving, I’m hoping that those who leave are just on break and come back.
I want this game to thrive, last my lifetime at least. That’d be cool.

I talk a lot. I’ll stop now. lol

If you remember the whole reason they are part of the Horde is because Thrall saved them and they are serving out their oath to him. If Sylvanas is attacking Thunderbluff that just goes to show how much she has changed the Horde.

The only thing a Tauren doesn’t fit in, is a door. :yum:

The tauren never belonged on the horde. The horde is all about war and conquest, enslavement and destruction. The tauren, not so much.

They don’t it is an Elf/Human faction the humans of it are just undead because of the fall of Lordaeron.

We fit in where we always fit in. The innocent victims that the story demands to show how evil someone is.

Well according to all the Horde leaders, the various Horde populations all support Sylvanas (atleast for the moment) maybe the Tauren will turn on Baine?

While its a crying shame Blizzard insists on dividing the Horde every expansion, if they turn traitor I guess they gotta burn with the rest.

Siege of Thunderbluff. The Horde and Alliance team up to take out Sylvanas and her “True Horde.”

Wait, this sounds familiar…

A Pandaren may believe they have more to offer to the Horde. They could teach them many things and help them find peace. Also tbh the Alliance side wasn’t so appealing while I was on the turtle… they were pretty rude and couldn’t help themselves at all there. Lol I don’t blame them really.

In Mists of Pandaria they went deeper into how all the various races were dealing with Garrosh being in charge.

Blizzard probably figures they don’t have to go over it again, since this is just an exact repeat of the same story.

No, I don’t think so. Thrall is coming back and when he does, he’ll have Baine, Saurfang and alliance help.

Since the tauren are with the horde because of their oath to Thrall, that’ll decide then what happens next.

The tauren could actually decide their oath has been fulfilled and become part of the alliance or a neutral faction unto themselves.

Or the horde will split permanently. Or Sylvanas and Nathanos will just be removed.

The Tauren are smart enough to understand that their only real enemy is the writing staff.

Explain pandas, worgens, space goats, and elves then. By all means, I dont want them, but still they are here in the Alliance.

Not necessarily. The mainland ones are more peaceful because they’ve been cut off from the world and had to consider the sha. The Wandering Isle pandaren are still good people, but much more fire-blooded and adventurous. They have no problems with fighting really.

The Houjin joined the Horde because they liked the Horde’s practical ideals and personality. And they honor their oath in joining. The Horde just needs a decent Warchief is all.

It’s really not that far fetched outside of Blizzards writing abilities. Tons of “Horde” players believe the Tauren are Peace-Above-All-Pacifists but in War Crimes, Baines entire entourage (all Tauren) stomped and cheered when Garrosh suggested invading Ashenvale and throwing the Humans out of Theramore.

On top of that theres literally Tauren in the group that throws Baine in jail for aiding that undead guy (dont remember his name).

I already explained the goats. Worgens are humans but cursed, elves are humans with pointy ears. Pandas were just about stopping the horde from getting them and taking over Pandaria.

If you ever level a Tauren, that’s the big lesson. Humans hate you because you don’t look like them.

I remember when Tyrandee was rude speaking to Thalyssra and she decided to be horde.
I’ll never forgive Tyrandee lol
I wanted to play a Nightborne as alliance T_T

I think the Orcs are more accepting of races and appearances because they themselves are Aliens to Azeroth. The Humans and Dwarves build their cities and live much differently than from the clans or tribes you find in the Horde races. Heck the Dwarves don’t barely trust other Dwarves and are very very slow to accepting change. You could say the same for the Night Elves too. They don’t really accept new people into their home which is why the Night Elves taking in the worgen was a big deal. The Draenei and the Pandaren were both gifts to the Alliance in helping them grow.

There isn’t any way of disputing that the Orcs are more accepting of a new race because they always judge them by their strength and their beliefs over where they are from or how they look.

Also the Orcs were familiar with the Draenei before the Alliance ever met them too. In a way that probably helped the Orcs see things differently as well.

You know, since we have this dev team and Blizzard is kind of a different company now, they could just be intending to make it so the player not only has a choice of all the races and classes to play, but which faction they want to choose, too regardless of race.

Open it all up but still have 2 factions so the game continues.

Yeah that was pretty disappointing. :persevere: after all we been through!
