Sulking and mending his wounded pride after getting popped in the face by his BFF/crush, most likely. While also plotting the next plotty plot to further the cause of Black Dragons and possibly sort of destroy the world in the process, maybe. Hanging on the Dragon Isles, possibly?
I saw him chillin in the Wyverns Tail on WrA with two scantily clad female vulpera on his lap the other day. Seemed like he was having a fun time.
Same place Khadgar, malfurion, Lor’themar etc are.
Sitting on the backburner.

The fact that they kept trying to turn that toddler into some sort of bizarre dragon-mafioso with all this random influence and power, enough to spearhead the creation of multiple legendary items, will always be baffling to me.
Like, really? This is what Rhea died for? …
They would have been better off skipping that whole plot line in the Badlands and put in more ridiculous tall tales about flying motorcycles and punching Deathwing.

I believe he’s off looking for the Dragon Isles at the moment with his black dragon friends.
Which is why I’m hoping for dragon isles in the next expansion
I meaaaan you can hate him personally but still enjoy the character.
I think he’s definitely one of WoW’s more interesting original characters and I do look forward to seeing how he develops. I may be biased because I just want more dragon stories regardless of who they involve lol

I mean Khadgar didn’t “retire”, he just went to Karazhan to do his own research on the cosmos and avoid the Horde vs Alliance silliness. Asking what he’s up to now is also a valid question.
