We don’t trust them, but they have to balance the game around the removal. Add-ons have been a terrible hand holding mechanic since the release. I can remember thaddius. Blue left red right. It was that simple. The addon actually put large arrows on the screen to go left or right faster that the UI showed your debuff. Thaddius was balanced around the addon instead of accounting for UI lag.
The add-ons need to go. But, blizzard needs to tune fights accordingly.
