I mean, Gallywix is the embodiment of greedy short term capitalist and Gazlowe is the Costco CEO thinking long term and will murder you if you change the price the hotdog.

Also the beginning goblin zone is your player character literally trying to overthrow Gallywix to become the new trade Prince because of how bad he was running the cartel. You were throwing pool parties, depending on the class, fixing some environmental stuff to get long term profits, buying gear for your crew. That is why everyone loved the PC because they acted like gazlowe.

There is a difference between communism, everyone gets paid the same, and capitalism using free stuff to get PR for clients to come to you.

Also gazlowe was the goblin who first helped the orcs when he was still neutral and they saw what Gazlowe did to azura. Like hell they will allow him to fix Orgrimmar.

Goblin culture isn’t just Gallywix my guy. Goblin culture is capitalism and that comes in many flavors.

Oh it was, but we know why they wouldn’t. Blizzard wouldn’t know what to do. Even back in cata, everyone criticized blizzard making Gallywix the goblin leader. Dude literally tried to enslave his own people until the PC beat him.

So they picked Gazlowe because he is the most like the PC goblin character.

You know the main reason why i prefer Goblins over gnomes is their cast of colorful and explosive personalities. Gnomes have the same 4 people all the time.

That’s Gelbin, Kelsey, Erazmin and Oversparks.

Goblins outnumbered them even without the neutral cartels involved.

That’s a hella lot of people and they are the only Horde race whose cast was never harmed.

Metzen’s return is not gonna “save” things, have people not been listening to him? He’s been empowering peoples’ ideas and stories on the team instead of taking the lead per his own words. If we get more, and good, horde content in coming patches and expacs, it won’t be because of him and having that false expectation might drive people on the team away from writing horde content.

To someone like Erevien, if a character is of X race and X race is playable under Y faction, X is a Y character even if they are not.

So by his logic, that goblin member of SI:7 is a horde character.
