Interesting take. I will be happy to debate the ‘read to children’ bit, though. The dark tales, I’m sure, were read/told to children. It’s only modern times that sanitizes the stories to the current saccharine levels.
We only need one new kinda fairy tale around here. Permit me to tell you the story:
“Once upon a time there lived an ugly barnacle. He was so ugly that everyone died. The end!”
I would be willing to replace the barnacle with a gnome
I hear she’s down in Maraudon.
The earliest versions don’t end with a “happily ever after.” That was my point.
Spoken like someone who’s never seen Into the Woods.
I asked this: “So my question is are there any “Save the Fairy Princess” quests in Wow. Plus if you can remember, which ones are they?”
That could of been answered. Or not answered.
I have no idea why your going off on a Fairy tails are horror stories rant? Even if they are, so what? Has nothing to do with my question.
Oh, Princess Theradras Lol…she’s not a fairy…no, no, no. lol. Good funny answer though.
Lilian Voss
Poor Lilian Voss. I remember her from the Scholomance dungeon. I always felt so much empathy for her.
in this game fairys are bug like as their original depiction is if your thinking how alot of new fantasy views them well they are more of how tolken based his elves from which are the light elves of norse mythology. fairys as you view them are new. in the old celtic and gaelic mythology where they originate they are buglike lady moonberry is a fairy and its about as close as wow has to how fairys originally were viewed until modern history.
your fairy princess is in ardenweald her name is Lady moonberry right hand of the winterqueen.
Thanks for the reply. So those are the fairy people in Wow. I would of thought them to be more humanoid. But at least they are fairies.
While not a fairy, she is a princess that needs rescuing. Princess Poobah I think her name is, off the coast of Booty Bay.,
SL was a fever dream lit on fire then tossed into a dumpster
Wasn’t Maximillian of Northshire famous for saving damsels in distress, or are those quests gone now?
Maximillian of Northshire, nicknamed Max by his beloved Doloria, is a chivalrous human paladin. He was first encountered at the time of the Cataclysm, near the Golakka Hot Springs in Un’Goro Crater, where he strived to save damsels in distress, fight “dragons” and defeat the mother of all devilsaurs with the help of the adventurers as his squires.
During the war in Draenor, he traveled to the garrisons of Lunarfall and Frostwall, preparing himself for a quest to kill the “dragons” present in Blackrock Spire. At the time of the third invasion of the Burning Legion, Maximillian left Un’Goro Crater to fight the Burning Legion on the Broken Isles, he was later recruited as a champion of the Order of the Silver Hand by its Highlord.
Appears to still be in game at Various locations.
She’s in her fairy kingdom.
Well, America is the melting pot of many cultures so it makes sense.
Go to Booty Bay in the far south of Eastern Kingdoms and then head over to the east coast and swim over to the large island, I think it’s called Jaguero Island or something similar, you will find a save the Princess quest here.
Well,op,we did have a NE princess that help the worgen long ago ,which died to them which a was removed from the game during cata. We have no fairy princesses and we don’t have princess nor any nobles any more.
If the trend keep going we wouldn’t have any castles or dragons ,knights in shiny armor.go figure just accept time is changing wow.
there has to be at least one quest where we save the winter queen, the literal queen of the fae.
