It is funny to me that they would revamp the pvp gearing system to be the best way to gear up, but not make a new battleground, they had so many opportunities in this expansion for some awesome bgs. But nothing, no new bgs… blows my mind really that they would squander such a great opportunity… blizz… they might learn someday… they are a upstart company ya know… give them some time…

My money sits in various accounts earning interest. I don’t know, or care, what happens to it when it becomes Blizzard’s money. Nor am I privy to their internal accounting details to comment.
But, I suppose conspiracy and wild baseless speculation is all the rage these days.

Love temporary systems. They’re quite immersive and I just love to see resources die in expansion specific content.
Can’t wait for Torghast to also become SLs only when it could have been designed to be something a lot more from the get go.

Dang. I mean, it costs a crapload of money just to run servers for a game this big, every single day. They have many employees to pay, they have to pay for internet connection, there’s loads of costs just to have a company like Blizzard open. Then there’s advertising, events like Blizzcon, etc.
I mean, I agree that they aren’t producing as much content as they have in the past, but seriously 15 bucks a month isn’t premium. Nobody goes to the movie theater today (text deleted) but that cost a hell of a lot more for one film of maybe 3 hours long at most.
For 15 simoleons you get potentially 744 hours of entertainment. That’s what I call an entertainment value, and you can bust that down to 12 bucks a month with a long-term sub.

YUP exactly and they even said subscriptions sky rocketed cuz if COVID. They’ve made money off a pandemic and short change us more than ever with ShadowLands. Spent all their money on hype and cinematics? I think not.

This right here is the greatest tragedy of Shadowlands in my book, but then with how much they dropped the ball on that feature, at least it will sting much less to see it go… maybe in a future expansion, something better can replace it, I HOPE… but then when that’s gone, I will probably stop playing WoW in any capacity for the rest of this life…
