at times i wonder if Classic team is intentionally trying to shut down their own team going forward.
you received the 1600 valors points last week due to a bug, where have you been?
ya i am kinda pissed myself…like who cares at this point. DS is already gonna last too long as it is and everyone is already decked out in LFR gear…let it rip
You can see the reply below yours by Ginget for more rationale.
You may not agree with the reasoning, but it’s still a low blow bu Blizz.
Final phase of a nearly dead xpac with the worst raid tier of WoW’s history for next 6 months. Why make players upset for no reason?
Probably because when business resumes as normal next week no one will care
Think about it this way: if EU hadn’t been bugged last week and gotten the extra 1600 VP, which resulted in them having to give everyone else the extra VP to match, would you care now that the cap is only 3200 this week, since that’s what it would have normally been anyway?
Potatoes, potatos. Even if they messed up they should still continue upping the cap per week as scheduled. This expansion needs to end already so might as well just keep ppl happy.
Answer the question, please. I’d appreciate an argument in good faith
There is no argument. They messed up, own it and carry on. Yes the cap got raised to 3600 by mistake and of course ppl are gonna no life the cap right away. So rather than take something away the following week to “restore the balance” they might as well just keep increasing. In the long run, who cares lol Don’t get me wrong, i understand what you are saying in regards to if the error hadn’t occurred but it did and they could have chosen to keep the ball rolling to keep the few players remaining somewhat palpable
Got it, you aren’t looking for a discussion, you’re just here to kick and scream looking for a hugbox
No kicking, no screaming. Just means another week of raid logging opposed to running some dungeons for some more bis items or general progression. It is what it is.
considering it has more raiders than both SoD and Anniversary they must be completely abandoned if Cata is dead
It’s a silly argument… SoD is a home to a very few people. SoD nearly died in phase 2 for good. And it was a downtime killer for most poeple. Not a single guildie of mine even logs on there now, as it was pure downtime sink. Anniversary realms is the exact same thing.
Let’s compare apples to apples here.
Wrath C T7 had nearly 2 million logs records.
Wrath C T10 also had in the millions (25 HC)
Cataclysm logs barely scratched 300k in FL ceilings across all phases (not counting DS, as its week 1) But expect DS to die out even faster.

No because perennial whiners like you will still manage to whine no matter what They do. So if the choices are to work really hard to appease people and have whiners in the forums or do nothing and have whiners in the forums then nothing is the most logical course of action. You did this to yourself.
And what does any of that have to do with you not getting extra valor that you think you’re entitled to? If you don’t like it, leave the game. You won’t be missed. Whiner culture is the worst thing Cata has going for it right now and you’re the poster boy for it.
Oh no, I got 3200 valor for the first week because of a bug in EU and I’m angry about not getting another 1600 this week (2nd week of the phase)! Let me post on the forums to show my anger!
Forums were literally made for ppl to complain….
That doesn’t make you immune to feedback you don’t like regarding your complaints.
It sure doesnt
A ton of people bought last week expecting to get another 1600 this week and now theres a ton of us that are going to be progressing on spine and won’t have our valor trinkets now.
Uh…there are, actually. Reflection of the Light, Rotting Skull, Kiroptyric Sigil, Bottled Wishes, and Fire of the Deep
