Absolutely. Just still would be a better choice to either not be sarcastic at all (though that might go against his personality) or go really over the top with how he marks it. Cause even though that’s not how many Europeans tend to be sarcastic we’d still get that. It’s harder the other way around cause it’s way more subtle.
