This is actually my biggest problem with Shadowlands. I was stoked to go into the realm of Death, but it truly does just feel kind of boringly similar to our own existence. The fact that you can die again, just as easily as in the normal world is mind blowing and makes the realm so much less special to me.
I DO like the idea of being able to be killed in the Shadowlands, but that shouldn’t be the default. It should be hard to do and something that isn’t normal. That would make the perma-death way scarier because it’s something that SHOULDN’T BE. If the Jailer/Sylvanas managed to find a way to kill someone with finality when that’s not the normal that would be absolutely horrifying to the denizens there.
