I was an “everyday” player from Day 1 Vanilla to about the halfway point of Wrath. That was the first real extended break I took from WoW. I came back after a couple of months and played until the Cata patch at which point I was so salty about things like the loss of talent trees and the third weapon slot that I didnt come back until mid MoP after some coercion from family and friends.
From there I played until the mid point of WoD but with a larger emphasis on the pvp side of things. I tried Legion and was completely turned off by pretty much everything that expansion had to offer.
So basically Cata taught me I really didnt need to play this game anymore and Legion was the final nail in the coffin as far as retail was concerned.
