Where are the schools?

Technically General Krom’gar did that.

And Garrosh executed him for it, as it was against his orders, and he betrayed Horde forces to do it.

They come out on Children’s day, with school being me dragging them along to various places (including a Battleground, because hey that is exactly where “kids” should be!)

Ah yes, the one quest chain where I was proud to have Garrosh as my Warchief.
Seeing him throw the murderer off the mesa was so satisfying. Now people genuinely root for Sylvanas burning down a country. ._.

We also have class trainers… that is an education. I imagine certain classes like Warlocks and Mages have to teach reading skills beyond homeschooling.

Also horde has peons, peons are the orcs that didn’t make it into a specialized role of Orc society. Funnily they are the ones making our buildings. Under the guidance of some smart engineers and architects.

I imagine it is a bit like that for the Alliance as well. Also what others pointed out for Alliance and that their common buildings such as churches doubling as a school is a good point.

I guess what I’m trying to say is that education is probably more of a craftsman type of learning than a socialized program like RL schools are.

Lol you think people get educated at schools.

I think either you or I need to go back to school, I think you mean matter of fact?

Just delete children from video games. They’re annoying enough in real life already

There’s a school for baby boomkin at the druid classhall. It’s very cute.

Considering we end up killing 98% of the stuff added to the game… why would we put in schools?

Methinks that education in this game is like the way it was during the Roman empire, such that one would find a patron, and make a deal for their education.

Boralus has Proudmoore academy.

No, u meen smartiest

With education most of your characters, warriors , hunters,…some rouges probably dont even know how to read…only mages, priest and paladins would have that knowledge

My school is the street. The mean streets of Northern Barrens, class of 2005!

Maybe we’re the kids, sitting in school daydreaming about how awesome it would be to kill kobolds and farm murloc fins for random strangers. In return for gold, loot and fame, of course.

Didn’t that guy get executed for that?

Going by Org general chat, there is no education in WoW.

Night Elves have churches, your leader is a priestess.

Orcs have shown their education comes through first hand experience and more tribal guidance a “it takes a village to raise a child” mentality.

Undead = human chuirches. They dont procreate so why have an elementary education system for children?

The Draenei have been on the run for thousands of years, they made do with the space on the ship as they had we even see this with Children’s Week where one is adopted to be educated.

Goblins learn from the school of hard knocks. That and drinking their Kaja’Cola makes them smarter

Why would void elves have schools when they are all already adults? If they make kids, send them to human school.

Trolls teach as the orcs do, they even talk about it in the opening levels.

Tauren, same as orcs and trolls.

In Real Life here on Earth, public education really didn’t start becoming readily accessible until the Industrial Revolution. It wasn’t until the last 200 years that it has become institutionalized.

In a world like Azeroth, there are things more important than school. Farming, survival (including fighting), and life skills would all take precedent. An education would be learned from parents and only the rich will be sent to an actual school.
