All the time. Can be about my WoW characters or some from other fandoms. I do write fanfic (not for warcraft) and whenever I write I listen to music.
The song by the Monkeys?
Whatās your favorite Opera? Mineās Turandot.
Time to Say Goodbye by Mirusia Louwerse.
Andre Rieu & Mirusia.
I guess I should have said opera music.
Sometimes when I listen to music that has been played during video game streams Iāll think of that stream.
EUROPE-THE FINAL COUNTDOWN (Instrumental Versie) (youtube.com)
Also this sounds like final boss music to me.
Puella Magi Madoka Magica OST - Surgam Identidem (youtube.com)
When I listen to Dreamer by Supertramp I imagine my Druid flying around and shape shifting and things are happening to the sound of the music
More for my own OCs than someone elseās franchise.
If the musicās evocative enough, my brain will cook up an entire story for it.
If itās relatable enough itās all I can do to keep from playing it on an instrument.
No, never. I just analyze the music itself, the chord progressions, the atmosphere, the movements
No, but if I had the knowhow Iād like to make a little Lo-Fi youtube thing of my Lightforged mage chilling in low orbit in the cockpit of her warframe.
Maybe in 8-bit pixil art style.
Yeppers. Each of my characters has their own little theme song or piece of music. My angsty hunter is Six Gun Quota by Seether; My druid is Nightwish Last of the Wilds, my shaman would definitely be singing Herr Mannelig by Garmana.
Music makes for amazing inspiration when exploring your characterās back story.
I donāt necessarily do it when listening to musicāthough a few may be slightly inspired from songs, and overall I was kind of originally inspired by early WoW machinima music videosāhowever, I certainly have made up little stories involving characters, whether mine, NPC, or other forum usersā characters). I mean, look thereās 535 of them that Iāve posted in GIF format, and probably 2-3+ dozen that fizzled out before I finished, were only for discord, and/or were just too much for the forums (more violent etc).
