When WoW dies, we get NOTHING

Like $1 of our monthly sub should buy us a portion of stock, that way, when WoW does get shut down, we don’t get “nothing” for our part in making WoW successful... that and if this were a thing, it would be an incentive to keep WoW running.
if wow keeps losing subs at this rate it will be a F2P game
I bought a quarter pounder with cheese and McDonald and I ate it. They didn't give me any stock. The value was consumable just like your wow subscription.

Uhm... that's what happens with services. WoW is no exception.

go back to school, sit in the front this time and try absorb whats being said
Well, we get the memories and the fun moments spent in WoW, taking us away from our mundane lives.
Yeah, and I want someone from blizzard to tuck me in every night when I go to sleep.

The world doesnt work that way, at all.
I have honest-to-God real life friends because of this game. People I would never have met otherwise and people I will never not be friends for as long as I'm alive. That's the only take away from this game that matters to me. The pixels are meaningless.
If Wow ever does shutdown, there probably won't be anything to replace it because every other MMO on the market is straight up garbage.
What a bizarre thought process.
This is the whiniest thing I have ever read. Please grow up.
If you want shares in Activision / Blizzard, you know you could just buy some. At the time of typing this it's a little under 70 USD a share.

Activision- Blizzard is the last thing I want in my stock portfolio.

Playing videos games is not an investment with some pay out. You pay for the enjoyment and entertainment you receive while you're playing it. That's it.. you're not special for your part in 'making WoW successful'.. you're transacting for a service that happens to be popular with other people. There's no reward for that.

You can spend $1 to buy $1 worth of stock. Why should Blizzard do it for you?

And you don't speak for the other 5 million. Maybe they don't WANT the stock. If you do, go buy it.

And stop asking for a "reward" for being a subscriber. It is a retail product. People buy or rent it because it's a good product, not to "support the company". Blizzard is no different from Nike.

What? They gave me 3 shares!

Then again, I did order a Big Mac...with large fries. Maybe if you had ordered fries...
I don't know about you, but I got a 10 year statue and I'm hoping for a possible 15 and 20 year statue as well.

I'm also hoping that FigurePrint stops sucking by the time WoW is dying so that I can get some permanent mementos of all my characters so I hope WoW doesn't die any time soon cause FigurePrints is some of the worst 3D printing I've ever seen.

This. I was going to write some bland thing about it being a subscription service which means you get nothing back after a magazine or coffee of the month club subscription ends but the above response nails it better.

I also want to add that we do get something out of it after it ends. Memories of a fun time enjoyed while online. I also have screen shots of some high moments to view like photos.
Do you QQ like this when a movie ends?
