We have the trust system thing, it that’s not nearly as good as our beloved Renown systems we’ve got in the game and will be part of housing as well
Would be a great way to build community when everyone starts at renown 1 together and works together to do forum tasks and other things to increase their renown
Rewards could be increased like amount, posting images, ability to delete other people’s posts, let you post more per day, access the “high renown” section of the forums!
Just think about how much and accomplished you’ll feel grinding forum renown
We already have a Renown System.
It’s just a bit vague, opaque and can be reset on a whim.
But at max renown you can post pictures

Not all renowns have 20 ranks.
The Not-Argent Not-Crusade in Hallowfall only has 10.

Yea but the forums would be a major renown instead of a midpatch renown since the forums doesn’t get many patches

Does anyone know how the trust system actually works? Because I’ve been able to post videos and links and such in the past but it refuses to let me now.
Like… it shouldn’t be this vague.

Punction unlocked.
Renown level 7:
You may now use the word literally, figuratively.
Renown level 20:
You can edit other peoples posts.
I’m actually not opposed to a renown system, or even just a rework of the Trust Levels. It’s kinda ridiculous that if you don’t post for a little while you lose your ability to post links or images.
The renoun system is trust levels, and if you get vacationed it resets and you have to wait 6 months to get trust level 3 again. You also loose trust level 3 by not being active enough in the forums.

Let’s truly make it WoW:
1: Max 5 posts a day
2: Unlocks 1 emoji for use: 
3: Unlock a forum only hat
4: Unlock 2 emoji for use: 
5: Max 10 posts a day
6: Unlock ability to like a post (yes, only 1 post)
7: Choose between 3 emojis: 
8: Unlock a forum only boots
9: Max 20 posts a day
10: Unlock the ability to report a post
11: Max 30 posts a day, and 3 image/gifs a day
12: Max 40 posts a day, like 10 posts a day, 5 image/gifs a day, report 5 posts, and unlock a forum border to recognize lvl 12
And then this goes up to 24 whereby at lvl 24 you then unlock the ability to delete other people’s posts once a month!
And it takes 1 month and reading through 20 threads a week to gain one level.
From lvl 25+ onwards, it takes a full year to reach the next level, but if you make it to lvl 50 then you can basically initiate a mod takeover and delete the forums.

Only get four posts a day, renown takes months to complete, lol.
And after you max out forum renown, you get to grind paragon forum rep for a chance at a yellow text!

Basically it requires you to almost no life the forms for 1/3rd of the year, read 2,000 something posts and a number of unique threads within that 1/3rd of a year, and generally despite all this and posting so many replies have somehow avoided being reported into oblivion by the forum secret police (trolls).
That is an insane idea.
