When was the last time WoW made you cry?

This. The was the one moment I’ve really liked from WoW in a long time. That entire march was very powerful, and I very much loved it.

Unfortunately moments like that are few and extremely far between for me in WoW. When I want storytelling that makes me feel things and actually engages me, I go to FF14. Basically the entirety of Shadowbringers hit me pretty hard.

Pamela Redpath’s quest line. I actually had hoped her and her pop’s would have appeared somewhere in SL enjoying teatime together.

Yesterday, I had a lot of fun.

Doing some wq and leveling alts

A video game has never made me cry.

Waterworks, every time

Ehh, kinda mediocre guy.

How can you not burst into tears when logging into shadowlands? Like all the time. It’s so… not good.

Cry? Lol never

Feel something? Probably the wotlk cinematic

Or maybe seeing wrathgate for the first time, close second

the end of legion,

Not cry, but feel it in the heart. It’s Yrel being reborn in Ardenweald. I love it. I just did it for my mage alt. I can do that parade over and over. The original death really struck a nerve.

Plus, I always loved the quests with that withered guy in Legion. I could do that quest line over and over. It never became tiring even after doing it 14 times.

yrels in space waging war for the light, which will be next expansion tho?

I… don’t think it ever has. Not cry, but there were sad moments. Maybe the last sad moment for me was Uuna.

<—had something similar in Cata when you’re going down the beach finding all the dead or dying night elf npcs from Auberdine :frowning:

Cried nah , but I did feel bad for Varian dying

The death and reanimating of Ysera got me. The death of Varion Wrynn angered me. The burning of Teldrassil broke my heart.

My flippant answer would be any time I make another alt or a shadowlands NPC’s says “come to pass”

Honestly…only two moments… the death of Ysera in legion cinematic and her coming back in Shadowlands. Animation crew did too dang well with those cinematics it gets me every darn time.

Going into the theatre for my covenant campaign once I hit 60.

I’m an out-of-work stagehand due to the pandemic, so being in a theatre after being laid off so long and getting to do a quest where I was backstage made me really sad because i miss my job and really happy because I love the theatre all at the same time.

found a group of pugs yesterday that knows how to use their interrupt, stuns, and utility properly while killing things fast. I teared up inside on how beautiful it looked

The legion cinematic where anduin is talking to varian answers, “what a king must do.” I’d like to read more lore on varian, he’s a mans man.

People were rude to me on the hunter discord because I was a super noob and then I cried  it was about a lot of other stuff, though. It was just one small thing that set me off.

I think it was a few months ago
