This. The was the one moment I’ve really liked from WoW in a long time. That entire march was very powerful, and I very much loved it.
Unfortunately moments like that are few and extremely far between for me in WoW. When I want storytelling that makes me feel things and actually engages me, I go to FF14. Basically the entirety of Shadowbringers hit me pretty hard.
Not cry, but feel it in the heart. It’s Yrel being reborn in Ardenweald. I love it. I just did it for my mage alt. I can do that parade over and over. The original death really struck a nerve.
Plus, I always loved the quests with that withered guy in Legion. I could do that quest line over and over. It never became tiring even after doing it 14 times.
Honestly…only two moments… the death of Ysera in legion cinematic and her coming back in Shadowlands. Animation crew did too dang well with those cinematics it gets me every darn time.
Going into the theatre for my covenant campaign once I hit 60.
I’m an out-of-work stagehand due to the pandemic, so being in a theatre after being laid off so long and getting to do a quest where I was backstage made me really sad because i miss my job and really happy because I love the theatre all at the same time.
found a group of pugs yesterday that knows how to use their interrupt, stuns, and utility properly while killing things fast. I teared up inside on how beautiful it looked
People were rude to me on the hunter discord because I was a super noob and then I cried it was about a lot of other stuff, though. It was just one small thing that set me off.
