They are Blighters and should be made into a playable class.
Certainly sounds neat. Sometimes I wish WoW took after SWTOR in a way. Have the same classes but rename it with different visuals and spell names or something.
thats a dnd concept, not something in wow. the kul tiran thornspeakers are death druids, explicitly taught the same powers as the Drust. It is already possible in this universe, there is no logical reason that it wouldn’t be possible for the Forsaken
Was it ever officially stated that Drust magic is Death magic?
Death Druids == Blighters from the D&D universe. Same thing different name. I’m just saying it should be a playable class.
ok, how would it be any mechanically different from the normal Druid? what would warrant it becoming a seperate class over just reflavoring the class to fit an in-game culture, as they did with the kultiran and zandalari druids, shaman and paladins
Just saying the “idea” of a fallen Druid makes more sense for an undead than a creature of death using life magic. No clue how it would be implemented. I’m just speaking in concepts at the moment.
But if they do ever give players Mechagnome Druids, they absolutely should turn into a Car / Plane for Travel Form, and then into a metal coffin when you kill them in PVP. Something along the lines of this IMHO. 
I hope they get more skeletal/rotten forms
Or even a slime cat form 
Oh come off it. Forsaken Druids make perfect sense; they represent the poisons, the decay, the fetid rank of the land. Probably not the first on the Cenarion Circle’s calling list but then again all Horde-side practitioners should probably be on notice for that one tree bit.
There’s no combo in this game that can’t be justified with just a little bit of thought experimenting.

It will be interesting to see if Blizz gives them new forms or just puts a new coat of paint on existing decayed/plagued animal models or Maldraxxas.
This would be cool, but that would involve work… Is that something Blizzard will sign up for? Part of me says nope.

I see those as appropriate themes for a Druid, so Forsaken Druids make perfect sense.

I see what you mean. Death is part of the cycle. I was just focusing too much on the Death aspect vs the Life aspect in the cosmic sense. Like Arcane, Chaos, etc.
This I am still hoping for . The concept art is spot on on what they could do for them.
The only issue with this is it’d require them to remember they have a glyph system in the first place.
undead should be warlocks, rogues, shadow priests and maybe warriors. that is all.
