It is that bad.
A MM hunter is too easy to shut down already and their only go is managing to catch an opponent with a double tap while they either don’t have a CC to stop it or defensive to survive it.
PvP is all about trading CDs and MM won’t have any DPS CD to trade anymore. Salvo doesn’t do enough to be a threatening CD and gets completely denied by UH DK or Demo lock because of how ridiculous pet factories are. Rapid Fire is one of the worst DPS CD in the game for PvP because of how it doesn’t really do much for burst and just give you a high sustain for its duration, something anyone will just either LoS or they will just CC you.
