When Sylvanas wins

Clicked on thread hoping for a laugh. Did not disappoint.

I’m sure you can’t. I mean with how heated you are with something as tame as what I said lmao I’m sure you’ve been holding your breath this whole year to see sylvanas lose lmfao

I have no idea where Blizz is going with Sylvanas; I never played Starcraft, but I’ve had the whole ‘kerrigan’ concept explained to me. As I see it, there are three outcomes:

A) Sylvanas “wins” (win defined as she remains Warchief, total victory over the Alliance and Horde traitors are put to death. NPC traitors now number ALL racial leaders excluding Gallywix and the Mag’har orc leader. I forget what Ji Firepaw thinks, but I’m sure Blizz also forgot) This alienates most alliance leaning players, and some Horde. Seems like bad marketing

B) Sylvanas ‘loses’ (‘loses’ can be defined as Sylvanas becomes a raid boss and is defeated; whether she escapes or not, to be determined. I gather she could also lose by escaping or killed by a larger outer force); alienates a considerable portion of the playerbase that either loves Sylvanas, sees this as a sucky retread of Garrosh, or both.

C) Sylvanas becomes a savior figure, ‘beyond good and evil’, sort of like Illidan (I gather that’s what happened to Kerrigan?); likeliest outcome knowing Blizz loves their martyrs and saviors that cross divides for the greater good.

So, OP, what will YOUR character do if Sylvanas goes defending those loyal to her as well as her enemies?

Nope. Because I am with the true Horde, not Sylvanas Horde.

You wanted to kill players’ characters who disagreed with you, though.

I don’t understand this. Why can’t one of the options be she just wins and stays being warchief? Are you thignking it’s impossible from a technical stand point or you just think good prevails everytime ?

This kind of talk definitely does help enthuse me for Sylvanas. N’zoth may be an ancient god of horror, but Sylvanas definitely has that underdog, “We are the greater evil we’ve been waiting for” success story vibe.

And who knows, maybe I’ve got it all wrong. Maybe N’zoth is looking to trade up from Azshara and make Sylvanas his new queen, and maybe Sylvanas is in the market to dump Nathanos and get a new consort of the gigantic-underwater-leviathan-composed-of-eyeballs variety.

Your character dies every day… is this guy for real LOL

Assuming the terms of victory I laid out (Alliance is absolutely destroyed or laid waste, decimated + Traitor leaders are executed) I think that would be a HUGE pill to swallow for a particularly large set of the playerbase.

Perhaps the ‘win’ would take a different shape, and I’m assuming a really dramatic set of circumstances.

She doesn’t have to completely decimate the alliance yet or ever because there’s more expansions to go on. She could just weed out the traitors and that’s already a form of victory as it will solidify the horde.

Zandalari … Troll … Paladin … AYUP! That makes sense to be a diehard Sylvie loyalist. Rezan definitely seemed the type to just love the Banshee Queen.

Outside of that … I cannot wait till Sylvie is finally revealed to be Ogmot’s Laughing Shepherd leading her blind sheep off a cliff. I cannot fathom a reason that Blizzard would inject the idea that the majority of the Horde is still loyal to her (or that even Lor’themar is concerned his own people will not follow him in his decision to side with Thrall) other than them being likened to her “Blind Sheep”? Blizzard will likely deal with the “choices” between the two sides by merely having Sylvie BE Sylvie and have her betray the ever loving crap out of the loyalists (once she’s done using you all for her own personal objectives).

Yikes it went from Male human Paladin to now also Zandalari troll Paladins… basically you’re telling me any idea that doesn’t go with yours is typical of that race/class combo? Sounds like you’re not a very good person in real life

Occupying the cyanide capsule is always an option.

Failing to change Name and face is also possible.

That or go underground.

But I doubt it will have consequences for the losing side, if you reveal them you win you could be pardoned or if she wins you can always wash her brain after turning it into an undead.

Even that might be much. Weed out the traitors would mean executing:

-Baine
-Thrall
-Varok
-Lor’themar (unsure if she would be a stickler for what could be considered as fraternizing with the enemy in Nazjatar)
-Rexxar
-Potentially Thalyssra
-Mayla
-Rokhan? I forget what his stance was but I wanna say he’d probably lean if Varok and Thrall were also on the chopping block

That’s a lot of NPC man.

Horde: kill everyone
Everyone: evil much?

There is no option where someone evil stands out on top. And history has shown us that, and made it clear.

They could be imprisoned based on how much they’ve done but Baine definitely needs to be executed after killing ahorde soldiers. Either way it’s better than a divided horde. Theyre just figureheads for their given race but it’s been shown that not everyone in their race agrees with them especially the blood elves so that’s definitely acceptable

Are you really serious?

“Oh boy, Sylvanas Fanboys doesn’t like that”
