Short version of my question: Thinking of rolling a troll hunter as I did originally, but that starting zone is soul crushing. Would love to do Silverpine but obviously Forsaken can’t be hunters.
As a troll hunter, when would you make your run to the Zeppelin?
After you get your pet. There are no hunter trainers in Undead starting area or UC

I always preferred silverpine over the barrens. It just felt more atmospheric. So what i’d do is make sure a) i have the org flightpath; b) do those first few quests in barrens (to around 12-13) and then c) shift over to silverpine. Its not a particularly big deal.
I think picking the class you want to play is more important that where you start. You’re only in that area for a day or two, but you play that class (hopefully) for years.
