When EVERYTHING prior to the latest patch is trivialized, then what's the point of playing current content?

Only thing remotely cool is the AotC mount (usually) and it can easily be bought near the end of the patch. I think I’ve spent less than 100k total on the 3 I’ve bought.

People who treat WoW like a mobile game (i.e. buying things instead of earning them) should just go play a mobile game.
