Say next Tuesday? That will give you today and Monday to tune it down. Or are we looking at 3 to 4 months from now and all we can do is just be 8/8 Normal 4/8 Heroic. That is all I see btw 8/8 N 4/8 H players. I tried 6 pulls on Brood (Mount Everest) and there was no shot at in heck. I tried Princess (Mount Rushmore) 9 pulls and again no chance.
I could try 50 to 100 more pulls on princes and hope to get lucky as I did with one group where no one died in first p1 and first p2 and we got her down to 15%. So yeah, maybe a 100 more pulls there is a very low chance here I’ll admit that. With Mount Everest (Brood), however there is ZERO chance it’s not happening even if you tell raiders if you beat this boss, you’ll each get a million bucks, heck make it 10 million. Players just don’t know the route for breaking eggs and they break wrong eggs or they don’t dps the adds and focus boss.
I get that you want “Wall Bosses” in the raid. I was expecting the last 2 to be “Wall Bosses”, but we are talking about 5th and 6th bosses here. In all my raiding most of the “Wall Bosses” are the last 2 bosses and some times the last 3 if the raid has many bosses. This raid got 8 bosses with half (I’m assuming that silken and queen will be “Wall Boasses”) are tough. Now I don’t know about last 2 bosses, but Mount Everest (Brood) and Mount Rushmore (Silken) are jacked up and dialed up too much. I should be pulling Silken by now not stuck on 5th and 6th bosses. C’mon you guys.
I’m done testing these 2 bosses and I’ll just try 1 or 2 pulls each day to see if there’s a meaningful change, If not it is what it is.

Brood might need one at some point but I wouldn’t expect it for a while regardless on heroic. Princess is a fight that gets exponentially easier with gear so I wouldn’t expect one at all until late season.
Yeah, Princess isn’t much trouble as long as people position the portals correctly. Bloodtwister might catch a nerf, who knows.

I’m ilvl 605 now so maybe when I’m ilvl 615 Princes can be defeated. I say this because in P2 healers don’t heal and dps don’t dps the boss. As far as Brood goes in it’s current state I don’t see a shot it even if it’s small. Asking all 20 players to know the “break egg” route is near impossible and they will end up breaking the wrong eggs and miss the correct ones. Thanks for the heads up though.
Idk I didn’t find the intermissions that difficult, just mark where the segments overlap so players can play around there and not get caught in the middle of a pizza slice. The most I was moving is sidestepping from one slice to the other when it lit up.
P2 is tough for most players and what I’m seeing is lack of heals and 3 to 4 players die in p2 each time. Maybe it’s a gear issue too though I can see that as a possibility. I’ll try a few pulls with a raid of ilvl 605 and up (which I do think maybe still low).
Here is a suggestion for Brood “egg breaking mechanics”. Right now, each section got 3 sets of eggs to be broken. The set up is 3 4 4 meaning break 3 eggs then 4 eggs then 4 eggs. In order to break an egg, a player needs to be selected with the purple circle (I don’t know what it’s called) and at first 3 players are select to break the first set. Then 5 I think are selected to break the 2nd set and then 7 (I think) are selected to break the 3rd and last set.
To limit any potential accidental wrong eggs being broken, for the first set only target 3 players with the purple circle that break the eggs. For the second set only target 4 players, and finally for the 3rd and last set target another 4 players.
To make it easy for the players to know which eggs need to be broken, make the eggs that needs to be broken shine green color as if it’s about to hatch. This way players will know that they need to break it.
I know you guys are talented designers and will figure it out, I hope this gives you some ideas. In a nut shell limit the debuffed player per section to 3 4 4 and make the eggs that needs to be broken shiny to provide a guide for players to break the eggs. I can’t wait to see the new enhancements.
