Sadly Blizzard ruined PVP when they released Burning Crusade and turned PVP into a raid event. It would be great if they would ever de-fang Arena teams by limiting premade teams to one group per RBG, or force premade teams into “mercenary” groups for the opposing faction where no alliance/horde balance exists.
Level… 40 something, iirc. I stopped levelling, did other things, kept staring at the button to change from retail to classic and was like… ‘nah’.
Finally a few weeks ago I just uninstalled. I needed the discspace anyway.
My first attempt at a deadmines run. Level 18.
I wouldn’t say that as an absolute. There’s still an emphasis on making friends by adding those you work well with to your friends list or by finding a guild that you fit in with.
For sure, you’re chances are infinitely smaller now than on release for lower level content. I understand your frustration.
Level 21 or 22 - almost the same time I stopped playing in vanilla the first time.
TBC PvP was fine and regardless it’ll hopefully be far better than Classic is since BG PvP will be far less valuable than what ranking requires so casual PvP will actually be doable.
I stopped playing when my son did. Due to his issues, we did 1-20 or 25 at least 12-13 times.
I got my own to 33 and realized it IS a lot easier than EQ, its still not great to solo.
I keep hearing that on the forums and such. Is there any way to stop people from forming premades? (I note that it happens in retail too but I don’t do a huge amount of bgs, just sometimes when I like the Brawl option during a week).
At the character selection screen after creating an orc and troll. I have yet to actually log into Classic.
Level 42 not doing that again. The combat is just to stale and the running for the sake of running sucks
Skip it and just go straight to Wrath
Around Level 14? I was so excited for it and, and it was just… boring.
When BWL raiding started. It’s too slow and annoying. Gathering 40 people and without summoning inside raid is a pain. World buffs are cancer, flasks cost too much, pvp ranking is awful.
TBC will fix all of that. Leveling and 5ppl dungs were super fun though
When BC came out
Level 13 lmao
Yeah, there abouts, actually.
When I was 27…years old. I’ll be 41 next week.
I fell too far behind.
Never started. I dont want to play the poor cousin to what I play now.
Rank 11 on my Gnome Mage.
Tier 2 and Xbow from BWL on my Hunter.
Just don’t really care about it anymore, logging on felt like a chore so I stopped.
