Never did , I prefer moving forward not going several years backwards
3 or 4 days after release. The nostalgia was gone by that time.
I stopped playing vanilla when BC came out.
I think I got to level 2 or 3 just because I wanted to join in on launch hype
I hit Desolace and my classic guild devolved into just being me and a group of 5 who were around my level who dungeonâd to level but were a clique who wouldnât let anyone else dungeon with them so I got bored.
Launch was real fun though, I snaked my way into being 1-2 quests ahead of the general curve in Durotar and got to lol at doing quests without interferance while the rest of the rush fought amongst itself for pickups and kills.
When BC came out.
I think i made it to 12?
I got to level 60 and couldnât raid cause I play when few people do. So came back to retail.
2/1/2007

Around phase 3 iirc.
I had enough of the community.
And I had enough of the poor care when upholding the no changes rule.
Just look at Classic GD, same brainlets arguing about the same thing over and over again.
iâd play classic tbc but i donât care for classic vanilla tbh.
levelled a warrior tank to 60, raided a few times, didnât really like it.
I donât know, just not for me.
Till lv10,
The grind is huge and time investment to get to your goals roughly feels like 5 or 8 hours whereas with retail WoW just 3 max or less on a daily basis
About 20, but Iâm honestly getting back into it. I never feel like Iâm failing at 400 things in Classic like I do in Retail.
phase 2
I got to like level 20 on an undead priest then quit.
When it took years to lvl and also everyone on classic is a you know what.
At this point.
I stopped playing classic on January 16, 2007
When the Burning Crusade launched.
