I’m seriously a bit shocked by the attitude in this game.
Playing as a healer, at level 36, I find myself with a DH who is go go go, going as fast as can be. As if it’s mythic rather than a levelling dungeon, where I don’t even have all my abilities.
Me, playing as holy paladin, mention that I’m a melee healer with low mobility, so take into account where I am. I do this after the very first group, where there weren’t any issues.
Response from a Rogue: “shut up and heal”
Seriously? I’m explaining the issue and this is the response? Meanwhile, the tank says nothing, and instead it’s the rogue acting crazy.
I’ve heard people are now waiting more for healers than for tanks, and the explanation is clear. Healers are expected to stay with group at all times, keep everyone alive, always, do lots of damage while healing, and if they say anything, the response is “shut up?”
I increasingly believe what I say another poster state in their “unsub” thread:

You literally just troll them back by BOPing the tank and leaving and then you get your next queue 35 seconds later. It’s one of the perks of having 4 nanosecond queues.

i exclusively heal for tanks i know. ive had too many bad experiences with questionable tanks and dps making my life miserable.

Same thing happening in Mythics now for me (M0 so no timer). Tanks are going x games mode and doing massive pulls and Disc mana is despicable so I ask for drink breaks and they DH vengeance leap halfway across the map and wipe and I RP walk to their corpses to res. If they cant behave then have fun waiting for another healer.

Tbh I think those type of people make the game great to play. But as a healer it’s definitely gonna be looked at differently. As a tank if People keep being rude I just wipe us as much as I can before people leave.
Are you actually able to reque right away after you get kicked?

Eh, try not to let it get to you. I’ve found its usually the most average of players who are aggressively toxic. They know just enough to not suck and that makes them think they’re MVP.
I would just say something like: “Are you seriously getting toxic in a leveling dungeon?” … its especially effective if it comes from someone else - not the target of the toxicity. So I always say that, even if the criticism is somewhat valid. Usually, the bickerer shuts up like I flipped a lightswitch.

You met some not nice people. That doesnt mean that is everyone in the game.
Every time theres been a hiccup with M0 since the launch of this expansion, I’ve expected the PuG member to up and leave, and every time so far they havent. In fact, they’ve been kind and patient.

I had a really mouthy tank thru the year 2019.
He was already acting like a fool ,insulting everyone in the group.
He pulls something that put something on him that was ticking him off that I could Nature’s Cure…and before I even got the chance to do so he starts running his mouth at me, lol.
So…i told him to deal with it. Im healing you, nothing more.
He apparently voted to kick but it didnt pass because he already had the other three players irritated with his behavior.
He wouldnt even bail, lol. so he spent the rest of the run cussing at me for refusing to remove whatever debuff or whatever it was he had on him, lol.
I didnt care enough to even know what it was exactly he was whining about once he started the name calling.
