Well most of them (nearly all) can’t help but ape the moral standards around them, but they’ll argue the self-destructive nihilism as it is convenient to win an argument, even while living in and tacitly demanding society act in some “proper” manner.
It is why it is such a funny and childish ideology, because many of them at least argue that they sincerely believe that morality is entirely a shifting subjective construct, but none of them have the courage to take that concept to its conclusion.
I mean…morality is literally defined by the cultural norms of your location and culture at that given time. There is no objective universal morality given how everything is contextually and values based.
Anyone claiming there is some universal morality is pretty arrogant IMO.

These forums ARE worse than they’ve ever been. WoW Classic has the worst forum community WoW has seen to date. Complaining, arguing, trolling have all been common on the forums but nothing like the overt hostility displayed time and time again here.

It depends on how you express them. If you started berating the business owner for their sinfulness by virtue of their being gay, then you probably wouldn’t get hired. If you expressed that faith in Jesus Christ is of paramount importance in your day to day life and actions, then you would be fine. Too often, Christian values are a euphemism for homophobia and xenophobia in spite of the fact that Jesus preached tolerance and inclusion.

We live in the snowflake generation where you can’t say anything without at least one single person getting angry and flagging and reporting you even when it’s non-racial or non-sexual obscenities. No need to be offended by other people having different beliefs about what is socially acceptable and what violates the terms of service for that website. I swear snowflakes today have no ability to handle discrimination based on who they are or what they believe. You know there are people in other countries DYING for what they believe in and you can’t handle not getting hired for a job for insulting the owners existence. Back in my day we didn’t get hired just for existing, regardless of our voluntary actions. Hell we used to get killed for people LYING about what we did.

You grew up in a time where you had to have daily person to person interaction and developed discipline, self-respect and respect for others. The majority of gamers have not had this kind of upbringing today. Most don’t lack self respect and respect for others because they grew up in a tech only environment/world.
In our generation, the bully could become an outcast eventually. Today, the bully is the way to the top.

Yolo generation started using the internet for social media and when they realized there was other stuff on the internet they spread like crazy. Trolling originally was the internet form of sarcasm, It was a fishing term where you drag bait / lure behind your boat and wait for a fish to bite, and the goal was to get some one to argue against something blatantly sarcastic. When the yolo generation (the lowest of all IQs of any generation, an entire generation raised on TV) got trolled, they didn’t realize what was happening and confused the term with the monster under a bridge. Raised by TV and fatherless homes, they would not have known that trolling was a fishing term, because they never went fishing.
