Not essential at all. You would just find it convenient so you can mount up by a mailbox to post and collect.
Why not just bring back the Long Boi at the original price of 5 Million gold…there are only a handful of players that got it off the BMAH anyway since it was placed there…I know a ton of players love to have the Long Boi back…and Blizzard excuse of Dinosaurs don’t live forever is BS too…we have all kind of Dino models in game still …all they wanted back then during BfA was to boost Token sales to those players that were close but not close enough and they buy some tokens to boost their gold amount.
Never has a High End gold mount been removed from game unless its posted that said high gold mount was a limited time only like that one Flying Bug for 2.1 Million gold during Dragon Flight…the Long Boi was never listed ever as a Limited timed Mount.

it was 5mil when the token was 30k so it should be at least 50mil gold this time.
the 1.2mil gold Rhino was removed too. Nobody is crying about it. 
Agreed we need a new AH mount. It has been several expansions already and not everyone playing now played during BFA.
It wouldn’t be available in this scenario though. A new mount would be put on the shop just like the transmog bear and the brutosaur would still be unavailable and rare.
I spent hours flipping tailoring cloth bracers into the vendor for a profit, to get mine… I would be pretty annoyed if they decided to give it out to everyone now… I didnt spend that much time farming a commonly available mount.
I know someone that makes excuses in this same way… to try to justify things that are clearly NOT the case.
That doesn’t make it a need or essential. It just means you want it.
Wrong on WoW token gold amount…during BfA tokens were never lower then 157,000 gold…
Yeah tokens were 3 digits back in Legion I think. Blizzard has done a really good job keeping inflation under control, even with silliness like a single daily rewarding 1000g.
They should give us an engineering item with a very long CD. Same with summons.
it shouldnt have ever been removed. The whole point of it costing so much was to serve as a gold sink, same as all the other expensive mounts that still exist in the game

And so called Rhino your talking about is a Wooly White Rhino and that is a TCG mount never a in game buy mount…and you can still get the Wooly White Rhino if you can find it on the AH or BMAH…

I never cared to spend 5m-gold cap on a useless feature. I just want a dino.

See I can go for that too…that is the only reason I brought the Long Boi back in BfA when it went live…it was the only mount model like it though out the game…no others…

that was why i bought the bloodfang widow, though it was then copied in shadowlands and essentially again in TWW.
It got to be cool and unique for a few expansions so good enough
How I feel using my Magic Rooster Egg mount 
not many have it…Love My Chicken…its the only ground mount I use when forced too the ground to travel…other then a repair mount…
even if everyone has (insert mount) that doesnt mean that everyone would actually use it, and even if they did, it wouldnt make those mounts less cool

If everyone gets an AH mount, would no one go to the AH anymore?
I already see nobody going to the transmog dudes anymore because almost everyone has a yak, lol.
I didn’t buy the Long Boi for the AH I brought it for its looks…having the AH is a added bonus…
We use it to buy consumables during the raid since you can mount up in most of it. Pretty useful.
